"This was a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. The surrounding area is walkable, scenic, and the staff were top notch. The restaurant was also great; both breakfast and dinner on site were 10/10. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. "

"I wish there were more stars to give! From the moment I was greeted by an excellent reception staff to the moment I departed I was treated above and beyond. My deepest compliments go to the chef! Everything from breakfast to the spectacular dinner was excellent! The staff was professional and very polite and friendly. I will return. Outstanding!!!"

Loud club music all night

"The location is certainly intriguing (specific to being in the fortress area), however the hotel is situated directly above a strip of nightclubs— it’s EXTREMELY loud until about 1 or 2 am. Might as well have been clubbing ourselves. Even with the ac on, ear plugs, and white noise playing from our phones, couldn’t drown out the music enough to sleep. I wish we had been aware of this aspect prior to booking. "

Great for families

"Resort is great. For kids there are many activities and for adults it is easy to relax and enjoy one of the beach bars. All inclusive drinks and food are great and service was at a high level. It is pretty shallow at the beach (which is great for kids) but it is not great for swimming."
