After being on the phone with hotels.com for over an hour trying to get them to book us a new place and the outsourced phone operator not being able to do it I went ahead and booked Hotel Grodek on my own in a bout 2 minutes online. Hotels.com was supposed to pay for it because we were given a different apartment at another location that was a scam. There was a lot of confusion. Hotels.com did not pay for the 2 rooms we did, so we now paid for two separate places on our own because of hotels.com error. This was not the fault of Hotel Grodek but we went from a place that was supposed to be a 3 bedroom apartment to 2 very small hotel rooms. I think up to 2 adults could have a lovely time staying here, but it's not great for a family stay. Supposedly they had one bigger room but they were not willing to give to us unless we could pay even more of a fee. After all we had been through that night we were not willing to do that. This was only for 2 nights and is a totally acceptable stay in Krakow. Note: The receptionists were kind and helpful and tried to understand the confusion with hotels.com that is now also expedia and is not a good service anymore, but it just wasn't working. The shower is awful. The shower head does not stay up at all, but otherwise, it is a nice hotel for a short stay.
