Great hostel where the staff are always happy to help in any way that they can. Clean and quiet, especially as it is so conveniently close to Ao Nang's main strip

Krabi stay, close to beach and helpful staff!
The staff is so helpful in making sure you get settled in, and offering suggestions on how to get around. The breakfast spread is fresh fruit and toast which is helpful as well. Location is great and walkable to many bus stops, eateries, etc. The rooms were clean and nice, and each bed had it's own storage locker, outlets, and light. Felt like I had a room to myself! Laundry services were also available too although I didn't use them. The pool and hammocks were a great added bonus in case I didn't want to travel off site. Would return for my next trip to Krabi!

Magnificient lanscape with swimming pool in its core, cleanliness perfect, generous breakfast, privacy preserved in the common bedroom with free wifi and independant lamp Perhaps a little far from the sea but we can walk and visit the city.. The sea it'straight !

Awesome value stay in Ao Nang
Extended our stay by a night as we really liked our room. Good area away from the main strip in Ao Nang. Don’t love Ao Nang itself but this hostel is both really nice and great value.

Again Expedia didn’t stay on there booking page that the breakfast was included, we arrived at the hotel, with a lady who sounded aggressive, but this might have been her trying to speak English! Got to the room and one the sheets was dirty, like 3 mud stains and a wet patch! Pool was salty, weird to me and is very slippy.... so watch out! Freebies are awesome at this hostel, free tea, coffee, Hot chocolate, biscuits! 😀

Fix the smell.
Great staff, clean common area and dorm rooms and great pool to get out if the heat. Only downside was the smell of a drainage ditch directly in from of hostel. Now in early March it us very hot, and the smell from th ditch is TERRIBLE. Enough to make me sick after four days staying here. Ownership needs to address the issue.other than that it was a great stay.

1 night at Glur
This was my third hostel of my trip and I only stayed one night before catching the ferry to Phi Phi Don. I took the airport bus to Ao Nang and it dropped me off about 1/2 mile from the road to Glur Hostel. The walk up the street to the hostel was beautiful. The hostel was very very quiet and set in a gorgeous area just off the main road. Check in was smooth and welcoming and I was shown to my room and where the bathrooms were. The door to my dorm, female only dorm, was secure with a lock and I was provided with a key. It was very quiet inside the dorm and my bunk, top bunk, was spacious with a locker inside the bunk. The privacy curtain was not see through and provided a private space. The bunk was comfortable and clean. I did not get to enjoy the pool as my stay was too short and I wandered Ao Nang instead, but it looked nice. The bathroom was nice but they did not provide shampoo. The atmosphere here was very relaxed and there were lots of places to lay around on the patio and enjoy the beautiful green vegetation. It was a decent walk to the beach, about 20 min walk. There is lots of food and shopping options along the walk, plenty to do. Breakfast was free and good. Bread, jam, fruits, coffee and tea. A very good option if you are staying in the Ao Nang area.

Friendly and Relaxed spot
Really pleasant place to stay, slightly tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of AO Nang, but close to the things you need, and it was easy to get about. I enjoyed the spacious dorm and the service was fantastic.

Pod style bed with mirror and closet! And clean! Common areas were a good place to meet/chat with people. Located off the main road, on a quiet street that is quite dark at nighttime but didn't find it unsafe.

Nice and helpful hostel owners. Enjoy a lot the beautiful open air common area. No stairs. Nice pool. Computer, books, videos, umbrella, water are availed. It's wonderful. The bathrooms and bunks are clean and beautiful. Necessary insect repellent. About 20 minute walk to the beach, but the beach is not beautiful. But there is beautiful islands day tour. Nightfife funny and good restaurants near. Wifi excellent. Breakfast delicious.

Clean rooms, quiet environment. A bit of a walk to the beach which isn't that great. There are better beaches in the vicinity although it costs money to get to them and they are packed with tourists.

Great for solo looking for adventure buddies!
Social spaces that even the most loner travel can manage to strike up a conversation! All the little details were taken care of -- Not like some places in Thailand where the wall doesn't meet the floor. Nice extras, like free coffee / tea, and some breakfast fruit and toast. Free beach mats and umbrellas. DVDs to watch with others, good wifi connection, and very clean -- They sweep and tidy the place daily. High power showers, nice shade, hammocks, with trees and in nature. Near the road but not so close that you can hear it. Clearly a very well thought out place, I was very glad to have found it.

Best Hostel I have been so far
A bit out side of the town center (-5-10 min walking) but enough food places and grocery stores around. The hostel has a great big rooms, bathrooms that leave nothing to be desired and a cool hang out relax area with hammocks and open kitchen.

The best hostel I stayed in during my four week trip in Thailand. Very clean, large beds, privacy curtains in dorms and nice communal area. I wish all hostels were like this.

The best Hostle I've stayed in. I like the privacy curtain. The storage area is IN your bed space and there is a closet. I had a bottom bunk and there was room to change clothes (if you lower your head). The grounds are beautiful. There is a cute steet market on the same street. And the main steet is only a few minutes away. I would stay here again.

Really nice and helpful hostel owners, really beautiful open air common area where people socialized, nice pool, clean bathrooms and bunks. Bring your own insect repellent though. About 20 minute walk to the beach or you can pay 30 baht for a Tuk Tuk cab. You can borrow their beach mats for free as well.

Great hostel!
Nice location 100 metres of the main steet. Very friendly staff, comfy dorms, nice public area, it has a nice little pool which is nice for when you have spent the day rock climbing, hiking or at the beach. Can't fault the place, would highly recommend.

Great place.
Great overall stay. The hostel is off the Main Street, so away from the noisenof the bars. The dorms are really clean and comfy, cleaned regularly. The hostel has a nice little pool which I a nice after a day on the beach or a day climbing or hiking. Staff are really friendly. the public area is nice, I can't fault the place, highly recommend.

The hotel had everything we needed and more (free bananas)! The room was comfortable and clean. Overall amenities such as umbrellas, beach mats, magazines, and videos were greatly appreciated. Our room included a breakfast and it was simple and delicious!

Best hostel in aonang
This place is amazing and very calm and comfortable. Not a party hostel, but a place you can relax and recharge. The beds have lots of space to store your things securely and a curtain for privacy. Common spaces are simply designed and lovely.

I loved this hostel! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Ao Nang. On the map it looks a bit far from things, but it's actually a really easy walk that takes no time at all - great food and drinks all along the main road! I think as hostels go this is the nicest I have ever stayed in - likely a better value than staying in a hotel or guesthouse. Rooms were awesome - I was in a shared 6-bed, but everyone has their own little "room" with floor space, headboard, closet, mirror and storage area, all which can be closed off with a curtain for privacy. Stay here, you will love it!

A pleasant stay
Though I stayed only for one night before leaving for Phuket, it was very nice stay at Glur Hostel. I was given the bottom bunk bed as requested. They also helped me with van booking to Phuket.

Good location with view and nice staff
The staff is so kind and nice. The hostel is very cozy and clean. Every place has wonderful view and comfortable. The location is perfect but a bit dark the way from main road to hostel. However, the air conditioner does not working very well. It was pretty noisy and not really cool. Moreover water dropped from the air conditioner 2nd day.. lucky we were only 2 person so can use each bed. Mattress was bad as we can fill the spring and painful. So we had to use the comforters to cover the mattress and used our own beach towel as blanket.

The hostel that has everything
I returned to Glur Hostel this year after having visited earlier, back in 2015. Glur really does everything right. The spacious beds, the breakfast, the pool and the helpful staff all make for a memorable stay. Several of the travellers I met extended their stays as they were pleased with the hostel. I recommend this hostel to anyone, travelling either solo or in a group.

Hostel befand sich etwas ausserhalb vom Geschehen. Dafür ruhig und doch nicht allzu weit weg von den Restaurants, Supermarkt und den Strand kann man in ca.15 Minuten Fussmarsch erreichen.

如果你想選擇一間價錢便宜同接近沙灘的酒店，這間酒店可能會是你的選擇。房間算是乾淨，但夜晚有點吵，因為接近樓下的一間酒吧， 但治安還是可以。

Increíble, pero muy lejos de todo
Creo que este es el hotel más cómodo, bonito y limpio en el que me he quedado. El staff es muy amable, todos los espacios son amplios y muy lindos. Lo malo es que está muuuy alejado de todo y estaba prácticamente solo las fechas en que yo fui :( además no venden nada de comida o bebida.

The best hostel!!!
Lovely garden, lovely staffs, lovely people, and lovely cats!! The room condition, private doors and curtains in bathroom was great. There are many wondering people who don't want to leave this hostel, so they keep come back here haha But I don't want to many people know about place lol because it was so hard to book another extra nights as it's always fully booked!

ドミトリーに宿泊しました。部屋は清潔でとても静かで、シャワーとトイレは共同ですが数は十分あり、待つことはありませんでした。部屋の夜間の冷房が強めなので、一枚ブランケットを持参すると良いと思います。 共同スペースにはベンチとゴロ寝マットがあり、一人でもリラックスできます。他の旅行者もルールをわきまえた人たちばかりで、騒がしいこともなく快適でした。他の人と交流したいときは、自分から少し話しかければ、すぐに打ち解けることができる雰囲気です。 アオナンビーチからはゆっくり歩いて20分です。途中レストランやマッサージ店、旅行代理店などいろいろな店があるので、歩いていても退屈はしません。トゥクトゥクなら約60バーツの距離です。年末年始の渋滞時は100バーツに値上がりしていましたが。。 他の旅行客も皆、このホステルを気に入っていました。他の人にもオススメできますし、私もまた泊まりたいと思っています。
