A very BASIC Hotel
We arrived early morning and were not impressed. The room was a reasonable size but the facilities were poor and not well maintained. We were there for 10 days and had no hot water for the whole time, in fact there is not even a hot tap on the sink only a cold one. The bath was badly stained and the person who installed it had not even removed the packing tape put on in the factory to prevent the edge being damaged in transit before sealing it in to position. The drain in the bathroom floor was clogged with hair and the shower head partially blocked with calcium deposits. There was only one sheet on each of the beds which did not fit properly and they had small Blood stains on them and holes in them. Later in the morning we asked for another sheet each and were given one more each which also had holes in them and stains. The toilet seat supports underneath were mostly missing and the seat tended to move when being used. The towels were of poor quality, hard and seemed fairly old one had a hole in it, only one each was supplied. Two small bars of soap and 2 small sachets of shampoo were in the room and that was the full amount given for the first 7 days and the only reason we received more was because for the last 3 days we moved to another room on the front of the hotel, which was in the same state as our original room as far as cleanliness and maintenance was concerned. Once again we had to ask for more sheets for this room. There are no coffee/tea making facilities

(a) The location of the hotel was excellent with wonderful view of the lighthouse and the beach area.. (b) The behaviour of the staff was very nice and cordial. (c) The AC machine and the TV were not working properly -- everytime, the hotel staff had to be called for switching them on. (d) Availability of water in early morning was uncertain for one section of rooms as the pump was not working properly. (e) If somebody arrives late evening, there is no porter or anybody available to help with transporting the luggage from the taxi drop-off point to the hotel. Particularly, it is very inconvenient with kids and aged persons. (f) Hot water should be available in the hotel throughout the year. (g) There should be some dining facilities with the hotel itself, otherwise one has to go out for breakfast and dinner everytime. Overall, the hotel is not managed in a professional and customer-friendly way.

The location was good but the approach to the location was poor. Hot water not available, TV not working, Onsite restaurant closed, slippery floors when wet.

Leuk Hotel
Leuk hotel. Vlak aan het strand, dus ook een lekker briesje vanaf het water. Ook de geluiden van de boulevard krijg je mee. Alles wordt netjes schoon gehouden en zeer vriendelijk personeel.
