Special shout out to ‘Asia’ who hosted breakfast in the Fiorentina restaurant and the service she provided was excellent, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was table service and multiple combinable options from omelettes, pancakes, cereals, choice of breads and continental meats and cheeses and all delightfully presented and cooked to order. After a smooth check out, the hotel assisted us with a tour of Krakow by golf buggy , which wanted to do before our evening flight home. Picked up from the hotel and arranged in 10mins!. Buffet, self service style and everything from fresh fruit and yoghurts, breads (including gluten free option), cakes, croissants and danish pastries, hot cooked goods (bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, courgettes etc) cheeses, meats, fish and extensive salad, dressings, accompaniments and a very popular waffle station with the largest pump handle Nutella bottle I have ever seen!! Several coffee machines and an excellent selection of leaf and herbal teabags. They even had actimel bottles. There is a mini "spa" on 6th floor with rainfall showers, relaxing seating, steam room and sauna. On the ground floor is a small business centre and a hairdressers. Krakow Zablocie train station is a couple of minutes walk away (direct trains operate from here to Oświęcim (Auschwitz) at an approximate cost of £10 per person return taking around 1.5hr . Lots of restaurants around the hotel including Ethiopian, Indian, Chinese and others. Schindlers Factory is 10 minutes as is the ghetto wall remnants.
