We loved our private bungalow with incredible ocean view! Comfy bed and delicious food on site. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. Totally recommend for the price, although it's a bit far from town if you want some more of that action. We stayed two nights near Sairee beach to enjoy that aspect of the island and then closed out our vacation with two perfect nights here as a treat to relax and unwind.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Great location close to the quietest end of the beach.
Great restaurant Rim lae with beautiful views
Nice swimming pool with waterfall
We had a great 2 week holiday here .
Beautiful grounds with private white sand beach - a great, quiet beach for scavenging coral and swimming. I noticed a lot of other resorts on the island do not have easy beach access. Very easy to arrange snorkeling and scuba diving trips within the resort. If you want to go into town, there is a free shuttle that drops guests off and picks them up a few times a day. Very friendly staff, too.
This is an excellent hotel on the beach. Two swimming pools one right near the beach so either in the ocean or rinse and in the pool. Excellent breakfast options and had a delicious dinner. The only draw back was an occasional sewer smell near the room.
Staying in one of the cottages on the hillside overlooking Tanote Bay was paradise. The beach and snorkeling at Tanote Bay was fabulous and the swimming pool at the resort was really nice as well. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed our experience very much.
Great location next to Sairee Beach and Mae Haad Pier. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Services/amenities were excellent; had a blast on the snorkeling trip booked through hotel! Room was very spacious and comfortable. Overall, loved staying here for our short trip :)
I had read mixed reviews about here, so I was a little cautious. Maybe I am biased because Expedia apparently upgraded my room for me (good old Expedia!).
I think where we ended up was a Deluxe garden room, but it was a marvellous room for the price we paid. Big and beautifully furnished, it had a balcony overlooking the well tended garden.
Aircon was good & there was a room safe. Wifi was a bit hit and miss.
Spotless blue pool with plenty of pool chairs.
Great location on the main seafront track. Beach only two minutes away.
I had read poor reports of staff, but everyone we dealt with was very helpful.
Breakfast is good and varied and the dining room is a joy. You can eat on the balcony over the water. We spent a morning watching a ball of fish being chased by predators. Cheery place to start the day.
Maybe it's my bias, but I think this is the best value room I got on six weeks away.
Staff - most lovely helpful people in Thailand! The lady at the desk helped us book a train to bangkok and was easy. So helpful. From reception staff, housekeeping and bar staff.
Room - Room was lovely. Had 310. Soft bed. Nice shower and room. Close to the beach and pool.
Facilities - pool was amazing. But does get warm as the day goes on. Not enough sun beds. We went down at bfast and put towels down so no dramas.
Location- is in a quite bay. Other shops and places to eat if u walk down the hill. 7eleven 10mins away. And a working cash point.
Serrie beach is about 10mins in the car away. 300 bh to go/ come back it u haggle. Go to baracuda amazing!!!!!
Wifi - fast FaceTime and YouTube. Just have to login all the time.
It was my first time in Koh Tao and I wanted a hotel with a nice view and where I could see the sunset, this was THE hotel!!! I had my own private cabana on a cliffside with a beautiful view, very clean, great location and the MOST AMAZING FOOD!!! It was the best food I had for diner in all Thailand and the prices were excellent. The breakfast which is included is okay, not super. They also have this super cute pool bar, open late with amazing music and the best view ever!!! They are transportation for free to the pier offered by the hotel. For the price I paid, this hotel was AMAZING!!!
Ko Tao, or Turtle Island, is a peaceful destination attracting scuba diving enthusiasts to its sandy shores off southern Thailand's Gulf Coast. Rugged dirt roads span the island and lead to Shark Bay, a favorite snorkeling spot, and South Sairee Beach, where weekly trips take divers to Sail Rock. Dive schools with attached resorts, bungalows, and villas are among Ko Tao's accommodation options.
