Great Location, smaller style resort.
Great smaller hotel. Good location. Nice pool, clean beach. Area with lots of shops and places to eat. Very nice hotel staff. Bed was a bit hard. Room could be updated.

The rooms where Great rooms good design and clean . The pool area and the view was also really good . The things that I think needs to improve in this hotel are the breakfast which will have minimal, and the mosquito problem which was a bit annoying. other than that our stay was great. the service was really kind and considerate.

Spacious stylish room and the staff are exceptionally pleasant. The only issues were the wifi couldn't connect to our phones (we haven't gad issues anywhere else and we've been traveling for a year and over 26 countries). Our laptops worked, however. Also the construction outside would shake us awake and keep us awake all morning. We realize that it is not the hotel's fault, that there is construction going on next door. I'm sure it's temporary

I loved this place. If I'm being honest, "resort" is a bit of a stretch, so if you're coming here looking for the pamper-me treatment, this place ain't it. I wasn't, though, so it worked out. The place only has about 10-12 villas, so the closest vibe is that of a few houses at the end of a cul de sac. I stayed in Villa #2, which was on the beach. Highly recommend. Looked just like the pictures and to die for when the windows are all opened up. :) Staff was super friendly, knew who I was, what I needed, when I was checking out, called me a tuk tuk, the whole nine yards!

Nice place but not aimed at family's?
I was very disappointed. I'm a single dad that took my children on holiday around Thailand. I booked saboey for 3 nites for 3 people. When we got there the room only had 1 bed. When I asked about why only one bed as I booked for 3 people I was told that for the price we only got that room. I don't know why they accepted the booking? They told me I could pay more to upgrade my room. Not something I wanted to do.

Saboey Supreme Stay !!
We upgraded on arrival to garden villa could walk straight out to pool and beach , very good massage from beach ! Were given comforter for bed ! Food was good ! We had to change villas due to wedding party and we're given ocean view overlooking pool and bar very nice ! Thxs for lovely stay !

Near airport, local resturant, shops. Nice swimming pool. There is small miscommunication but overall excellant. The room furniture need to refurbish. The Wifi is terrible bad for room number 20. Also balcony view partialiy block. Big room

Consider if minor A/C noise/Quiet location is OK
I have no complaints about the hotel itself the staff were polite and helpful. Villa type rooms were clean and spacious. Lovely small swimming pool. Fantastic beach/sea views Good wi-FI . This hotel is very close to Samui airport so aircraft pass low overhead between 0800-2100.numerous restaurants nearby but if your looking for the nightlife of Chawang then this hotel is probably not for you as it will cost 600 Baht return in a taxi.Less of course if you can find a shared ride.

Nice budget hotel
I stayed at this hotel for 1 night as it was near the airport. This hotel had all the basic facilities that you would need for a nights rest. the location was great as it was beside the beach and extremely close to the airport.

Beautiful resort right on the beach.
You will be greeted by the friendliest staff and they are all there to make your stay wonderful. Saboey is right on the beach and a casual stroll along the beach will take you to other bars and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, looked after/cleaned so well. Gardeners every day and staff always checking in. Staff are so friendly and offer a car service and advice on where to go. Breakfast was lovely - instead of a buffet you could order which is a much better way as it was fresher and hot! Pool area was beautiful and being able to walk down to the pool was amazing. Hotel rooms were clean and we got upgraded which was amazing too. Lunch and Dinner were fresh and really great food.

Beautiful Staff... Luved the spot and that it wasn't a huge hotel, The room we had first Was upstairs had a seaview but room was always dark and hot had to get a fan as well as air con, tin roof didn't help.. And I didn't like that the basin was in the bedroom and not one in the bathroom.. We moved later to a Beautiful room on ground level with a better sea view and massive with large bathroom and bar area and storage .. ( wish we had that room from beginning ) Luved the restaurants and shops & massasges in area … beach was nice too ..but not as nice as some areas in kohsumui.. Hired a bike and car and was easy to get around everythings not too far.. ( once you no where) I was very Sad & Sorry for the Staff as while we were there the Manager (Jon) who I had met and was a lovely English Man Passed away suddenly.. It was a Terrible time for all the Staff as they all get on like a family.. But they still worked & did their jobs to excellency as usual..Food was good too.. Brekky was ok ..

Birthday treat on Koh Samui
Nice hotel especially the Ocean view room near pool and views of beach. Great staff service at all times. On the pricey side overall but lovely for special occasion- all staff came out to sing Happy Birthday and gave us a fruit platter- bed / towels also beautifully arranged (both on arrival and on birthday).

Great price point and location
Kind greeting, nice facilities, a bit loud in the suites in the main building as its right next to the road but comfortable and a good price. I misunderstood their listing- they can arrange a taxi but there’s no free shuttle from the airport like other properties. Good restaurants are right across the street and the ferry terminal to Phangan is a short walk away as well. The pool area was relaxing and not full of kids when I was there.

Amazing sunset views
The room was very big and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good. The view of the sunset from the pool/bar area was spectacular. We liked this hotel so much that we stayed here again on our final night in Koh Samui.

Really beautiful hotel!
Loved our hotel room, clean and really cute. The staff upon arrival was very sweet and helpful. The pool was great. It’s right on the beach. I ended up liking the beach more than I thoight I would given that it’s in between two piers. I thought the boat traffic was going to be an issue but it wasn’t. We still had a nice quiet ocean swim. The WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. The food at the bar was actually pretty good! I can’t really give an opinion on the location because we were only here for one night and didn’t really venture out, but If I ever come back to Koh Samui, I would probably try to stay here again.

Beachside villa
Had a lovely few days in Saboey Resort. The room was clean and the staff were always very helpful and friendly. The pool was good sized and refreshing. The beachside villa was spacious and clean. However I’m not sure it was worth the extra money in comparison to the Ocean villa. Not much difference between the two ( except a slightly different view).

Spring family holiday
Resort/hotel good, food and drink good and reasonably priced. Local area good for eating out and nearby boat trips. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had the two bedroom apartment which was very spacious for a family of 4. Only bad point was the fact that people were allowed to smoke in the pool bar area where we had lunch most days, not used to this and the others guests did not have any consideration for us with two young children.

Favorite hotel
If you're looking for a hotel that's still conveniently located, but not in the midst of all the tourists, then this is the place for you. It's about a 10 min walk from Big Buddha (you can walk along the beach), a 15 min walk to Wat Plai Laem, and a 10 min taxi/mini bus ride to Fisherman's Village. The staff is incredibly friendly and super accommodating. The pool is gorgeous and right next to the ocean, just like the picture. (If you want a beach lounger with an ocean view, claim yours early.) I highly recommend a massage from the sweet ladies on the beach. It was GREAT and the most affordable one we found. The restaurant across the street (Tonkoon Restaurant) is insanely delicious and super affordable. Overall, this was our favorite hotel our entire trip to Thailand and we highly recommend it!

Beautiful resort and happiest, most helpful staff.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the friendliest and most helpful Kie. We were early for check-in, but she took care of us immediately. Within 15 minutes, we were sitting by the pool with a cool drink in our hand. The GM, Jon, greeted us the first day and each day would drop by for a chat and recommendations for what we would like to do or see on the island. This is a wonderful resort, filled with amazing staff who's only wish is that you have the best experience of Samui possible. We will be back!!

Nice pool, nice staff, clean, good beds, big rooms, quiet. Beach is small, not much for walking. Not too many good restaurants in the area. If you're in the main building there's really no view at all.

At the price I paid this was good value for money. Nicely laid-out small resort next to a calm beach with boats. Clean small pool. Room very clean. WiFi OK. Aircon great. Staff very helpful and nice. Quite some traffic noise. Hotel in the flight path from the airport. I wouldn't go to the small hotel beach bar for the food, but the mojitos were amazing!

Watch out for flood there!
To All travelers, FYI and warning before you have planned to travel to SAMUI ISLAND....Be prepare to check the weather and once it's raining hard then it will flood everywhere on the island. Also, don't book your hotel room ahead of time because NO REFUNDS nor any cope for the room even though thing happened from nature disasters reason. We have tried to talk to the manager from this hotel on the phone since we stuck in Bangkok. NO offers or nothing for us and of course we already spent $900 for our room which is we couldn't use it at all. BE WARE TO ALL. From, a marriage couple in California, USA

nice place & staff, not anything to do nearby
if you enjoy living under a airport thens its great, staff are great, rooms are good but the beach is full of rubbish and noise from planes taking off & landing isnt ideal. also unless you have a scooter there is absolutely nothing to do within 30 mins walk ether way.

Small beachside resort hotel with a personal touch
We stayed 5 nights and grew to like the place more and more. We took a Deluxe upstairs room with a large balcony with a sea view and it suited us perfectly. The pool is wonderful right on the beach in the middle of the beautifully kept gardens. The staff are great, taking an interest in all the guests and always willing to give advice. Because of the small size of the hotel breakfast is not a buffet. You can choose from a good selection of breakfasts and the staff are happy to allow you to "mix and match" to your own taste. On the down side the area around the hotel is not so nice and there is aeroplane noise at times, but I think you get real value for money here.
