5/5 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Pingchan Hotel. We were a family of four staying in a beach front villa, after a week in a big hotel on Koh Samui. We wanted to get away from the big tourism of Samui and Pingchan and Thong Nai Pan Beach really delivered! Such an amazing setting, quiet, beach shack bars, beautiful clear water and fine sand and it certainly felt a little off the beaten track. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities, some areas like the outdoor shower looking a little tired and in need of maintenance, but overall wonderful. Pool to ourselves most of the time, with an amazing jungle backdrop on one side and sea on the other! "

"The hotel was great!
Easy check in, and they arranged a transfer to and from the ferry for me. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and responsive on WhatsApp. I had one meal at the restaurant and enjoyed it. The view from the pool is quite beautiful. The area is not particularly walkable as there are no shoulders on the roads, so rent a motor bike (arranged at the property), take taxis (pricy), or get ready to hike some hills in the heat (this is what I did)!"

"Loved the villa ,breakfast chaotic lowlife of foods and areas dirty and unkempt.Tiles in pool were broken and general and areas not maintained including standing areas for pool showers .Nothing is jet cleaned around pool .Pool is however large and we loved it .The area in front of the bar is filthy ,weeds and nobody clears tables or empties rubbish .The area where the egg station is has upturned old furniture and things just stacked there and again dirty floors .The housekeeping staff were lovely but restaurant staff lazy and no signs of Happy Hours or promotions .This place has no visible management which is ridiculous it needs to be lived and could be great with care and attention .There is no beach in front you have to walk around the corner and that’s nice there.I have read a lot of previous comments and it does not look like any attention is paid as nothing improved and that’s careless ."

"Paradise - chilled vibe in this stunning beachfront resort. Relax beachfront in the cabanas overlooking a beautiful swimming g beach with the infinity pool behind or sit in the picture perfect restaurant with its day beds, swings, hammocks.
Breakfast is superb buffet style, amazing smoothies and specialist juices all day and the restaurant food is delicious."
"Palita lodge is a lovely place to stay on Koh Phangan. We intentionally went on a waxing moon to avoid the craziness of full moon parties and it was quite peaceful. Few steps from the lodge restaurant and you are on the beach. The staff work very hard and are friendly and helpful. We would stay at Palita again if we find our way back to Koh Phangan."
"Rooms nice and air conditioning worked well. Showers were hot. Stayed in A1 so it was a bit loud at night, but we were warned by the staff prior which was appreciated. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Didn’t have our room cleaned while we were there for 3 nights but able to get water daily and clean towels and TP at the house keeping area which was fine for us. "
