Beautiful hotel and beautiful view and sunset. 2 pools. Big resort so expect quite a bit of walking as the club cars take you only from the reception to the hillside if you're staying in the rooms in the lower part
Lovely peaceful hotel for those who want to relax and get away from it all. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food was delicious and facilities are very good. The pool access room we had was amazing. The reggae bar is a real treat for cocktails and sunsets!

Loved this hotel! Would give 5 stars, but unfortunately the sink in my room had a piece missing and I ended up cutting my thumb open on it minutes of being there. Aside from that, the hotel is stunning!
Hotel and resort are beautiful, but not fully up on maintenance. Fantastic, spacious room & bathroom, but shower head did not stay in place, rain shower option did not work (hard water build up) & small tiles coming up. Feels like this resort was amazing in years past and will continue to decline as newer resorts go in. Front dresk not welcoming, all other staff very friendly. Great stair work out if room in at top of hill, cart pick up is an option (needed days 2&3) . The beach is very rocky when tide is out, pools are good alternative. Not much to walk to but a lot is available a few minutes away by motorbike. Hotel motorbike alittle bit expensive (250 baht/day versus 200 baht/day) but well worth it for higher quality bike. Breakfast was great!!!! Sunrise & moonrise view from hill top pool was my favorite.

I stayed here for my honeymoon and it was an excellent stay but the staff speak poor English and this caused many misunderstandings over requests and food etc. I requested they do something special for our honeymoon but nothing was provided and many times a food or drink order was not what we asked for. Instead of clarifying what was ordered the staff did not want toose face and so would take our orders incorrectly. Also no pick up provided from Koh Lanta pier which is very poor for an expensive hotel like this
But overall I still really enjoyed my stay there and had a wonderful time
If they improved their customer service this would be a 5 star review

There was a planned power outage for 8 hours but the resort's generator broke down so we had no power or water for almost the entire day. The next day they had a water line break on the resort and we were without water for almost 40 hours.
Absolutely stunning resort. Fantastic Spa, loved their staff. The bar might be one of the prettiest i've been to. Perfect for a sunset. The bar tender was so kind & I liked the music he played. Beautiful chairs & cabanas looking onto the ocean, but not many so snag your spot!
I was really unimpressed with the restaurant staff. The breakfast was good but not amazing.
The bathroom was sufficient, nothing to write home about. No conditioner, common in Thailand.
The resorts electricity was out when i arrived & did not go back on for four hours. I would expect a discount for not wifi, AC or alternative need for electricity, but did not receive one.
Front desk staff was good enough.
The bellman was amazing.
Definitely advise booking a room in one of the huts on stilts, not rooms on the pool. The pool near the ocean is FAR superior.
This Hotel is NOT walking distance to anything so you'll need to rent a scooter or take a tuk tuk.
As the resort is on the expensive end for thailand, it's full of couples + young families.
Lanta Island is a cultural melting pot. Chinese merchants live side-by-side with Thai fishing families. Nine beaches line the west coast, with Ban Saladan being the main centre for dive shops and dining. The island can be reached by ferry from both Krabi (2 hours) and Trang (2.5 hours).
