Loved this hotel! Would give 5 stars, but unfortunately the sink in my room had a piece missing and I ended up cutting my thumb open on it minutes of being there. Aside from that, the hotel is stunning!
Spent 4 days / 3 nights here in early May in a 'private pool room'.
Pros: Mostly clean, lovely view, mini bar well stocked, reasonable size of private pool with night-lights, Reggae Bar has great feel with decent happy hour / cocktails
Cons: One night a cockroach found its way into the bathroom :s but I'm not sure what more could be done to prevent this considering the tropical climate; private pool not heated unlike the main hotel pool; staff member did come into room unannounced whilst I was in the bath!; bit of an uphill trek to breakfast, might be difficult for older visitors

We stayed in may, hotel is good. Quite far of everything but that's what we wanted. Rooms are huge but a bit old, we recommend the pool access room, the exit is literally on the pool! The beach is beautiful but dangerous, be careful specially with kids. Prices are a bit higher than Panghan.
Great coordination for transfers there and back by pimalai staff. No waiting. Beautiful food at choice of restaurants. Buffet breakfast best ever. Pools gorgeous. Staff exceptional. Spa prices a little expensive. Great to go off season.
The hotel is right on the beach. It has a great pool. Tue restaurant is good. The staff are friendly.
Rooms are very basic and clean. Tv has English channels. The only draw back I'dis that I saw lots of ants and flies in the bathroom and shower but it might be because of the weather and the fact that we are right on the beach. Overall for the price is a great great hotel with great staff
Lanta Island is a cultural melting pot. Chinese merchants live side-by-side with Thai fishing families. Nine beaches line the west coast, with Ban Saladan being the main centre for dive shops and dining. The island can be reached by ferry from both Krabi (2 hours) and Trang (2.5 hours).
