We usually are quite satisfied with Country Inn and Suites, but this one has definitely seen better days. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, the bathroom towels were almost threadbare, and the mattress was dismal. We are not fans of duvets, and usually remove them from the bed; but there was no blanket in the room to use in its place. There were candy wrappers on the rug under the chair, which were apparently missed when vacuuming after the previous guests. Even the toiletry items were terrible. They have switched to an obviously cheaper brand that we had never heard of. The soap pulled moisture from skin, and the shampoo and lotion were mostly water. We used to be fans of Country Inn and Suites, but it seems they are no longer willing to compete with Comfort Inns and Holiday Inn Express. It's a shame.
