I had called to make sure it would be okay to check in late due to life events. I was told it was fine if we checked in by 2am. Well, we got there in time and there was no parking. When checking in, I asked the front desk staff member about parking and she told me to park in the restaurant parking lot next door. Inconvenient, but fine.
We get to our room and immediate disappointment. I reserved a deluxe king suite for me and my guy, I walked in to a basic double queen room, yet, I reserved the king suite. I went downstairs to ask the front desk about getting the wrong room and was told that she's only been there since 11pm and she's working with what she has. Once people start checking in at 2pm, it's first come first served. I told her that I didn't understand how the room that I reserved could be given away, especially knowing that I called to say we'd check in late. She gave me MAJOR attitude..."I don't understand what's so confusing. Do you want to cancel?" NO I wasn't going to cancel...we reserved the room for a reason. The amount of rudeness and attitude from that staff member had me shaking, I was so angry. We will NEVER go back.
