"A big shout out to all the staff working at the front desk. They could not have been more professional. I noted on a pad a few tweaks to the room we stayed in I thought the management should consider. Normally, this would be a fool’s errand and met with a polite thank you.
But not here. The person at the desk not only took time to read my list but gave very thoughtful responses, including the assurance that he would personally make sure the management saw it. I have no reason to believe he was not sincere.
The entire hotel has been refurbished from top to bottom (when I lived in Kitchener in the late 60s there was a dive bar in the basement!). Now it is a well appointed restaurant and bar which served a deliscious and not overpriced breakfast.
A memorable stay. We shall return."
