Close to all amenities

Older hotel with lots of renos, pool was unfortunately out of service during our stay. Continental breakfast had something for everyone. Room was clean. Great budget friendly clean hotel

Pros: Location, friendly staff, quiet
The staff were exceedingly welcoming and helpful. They greeted me when I came and went and made certain that I received their "Reward" points, even though I had booked through Expedia.

Quiet Stay

Cons: Reno rooms, keep the buffet fresh (the eggs and sausage were sitting around too long kind of hard and cold)
Location: Lots to eat around the hotel, shopping as well. Close to where I needed.
When i arrived the lobby was nice and new. There were snacks if you were hungry and a continential (hot buffet) breakfast in the morning. I stayed 3 nights, the rooms were not renovated however they were clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Good hotel for money

Pros: The big continental breakfast area was very nice. lots of tables to sit and get an available seat, the breakfast staff was amazing and nice.
Cons: the speed of the elevator, they were not working properly and the front desk staff called for assistance to look at the elevators issues.
Location: Not sure about things to do nearby, just there for the sleeping and getting to our volleyball tournament at Canadore College.
It was close to our destination of Canadore College, as we were there for a volleyball tournament. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and the room temperature worked well. No issues.

A good hotel

We had to get a room after a terrible snow storm. Izzy at the front desk was very nice, and the room was clean although not exceptional and quiet. It was a good price for a good room.

shopping trip

Pros: friendly staff and very close to malls
Cons: cannot think of anything
Location: Right off the 401 and malls very close by as we'll as many restaurants
staff very friendly and room was clean..continental breakfast was hot and many choices...will stay here again next time in Cambridge

Hockey Tournament Guests

I was looking forward to a peaceful night's sleep, however that was not to be. A hockey tournament was taking place over the weekend. The hockey teams were loud and unruly without consideration of other guests. Hotel security was minimal and unable to keep the hockey guests quiet. Check-out was a nightmare! One Hotel employee on the desk and a line up of guests checking out. The hockey guests insisted upon paying separately (dividing one bill into quarters, etc.), which was time consuming and resulted in a very long wait for me. My suggestion is that large groups should pay in advance, or else another person(s) should be on the desk to check-out guests not associated with the hockey team guests.
