"Excellent cabin-style hotel, with great facilities"
We stayed here in February for 7 nights, and had an excellent time. We had a Room Giron, which slept 4; it had a double bed in the main area, and bunks in a separate room. The cabin also had a wet room with shower, and cooking facilities. There was full Wi-Fi, which whilst a little slow at times, worked well and was included in the price.
Breakfast was in the main hotel building and was superb, in (unsurprisingly) what I would call a Scandinavian style. The choice was good, and food standard was consistent. In the main building there was also an upstairs seating area where you could sit during the day, or in the evening whilst waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. There was also a bar connected with the main restaurant.
The restaurant required booking, and would not be recommended to eat in every night - not because the food was bad; quite the contrary in fact - the food was amazing - it was just that it was not the cheapest place to eat in town. We had the 3 course set menu, and can heartily recommend it!
The Aurora Spa, whilst possibly a little expensive (at about £25 per person) is near the main building, and is again recommended. They have 2 Saunas, an indoor relaxation tub, and an outdoor tub - along with food and drink available, and a number of treatments.
Finally, there is a ski/snow-sled track out the back of the main hotel area where you can walk and go to see the Northern Lights.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this most relaxing environment!
