"Booked in for an overnight stay for me and my little girl. She chose to stay at the Angus as part of her birthday. The service was amazing and we were made to feel so welcome. Can’t remember the name of the guy who was in restaurant serving the tables but he was lovely! My little girl thought he was a graduate from Hogwarts due to the “magic candle” on our table!! The food was really nice, so nice in fact that my 10 year old ate a full ‘Surf n Turf’… the portions were adequate and very good quality. The staff go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are on hand if you have any questions. Having the pool and spa facilities made our stay a bit more special. Highly recommend for a stay 😁"

"Room was clean and comfortable. Dove products in bathroom were appreciated, Room overlooked the front of the hotel which I was initially concerned about as the traffic was very noisy. However, I slept like a log and was not aware of the road. Breakfast was buffet style with a good range of cereals, fruit and yogurt, cooked breakfast, pastries and toast. Staff helpful and professional. Parking (council owned), not expensive and just behind the hotel, access on second floor. Cathedral and museums really interesting with the hotel central to key sights. "
