Beautiful cabin in stunning location; great hot tub!
Stayed here for 2 nights having travelled the road from Reykjavik and basing ourselves here to visit Jokulsarlon and Fjallsarlon lagoons. The cabin is clean, warm, spacious and very comfortable with the hot tub filled and ready to use as soon as we arrived. The ladder/stairs up to the upper level (twin beds) was sturdy but coming down needed some care, especially the very top step. It’s about 20 minutes from road 1; ensure your arrive from the end of the road near Kirkjubaejarklaustur, not the other end further west as much of the latter end is on unmade road.

Lost in the countryside but so convenient
What an amazing house! It was really big but so much well designed and functionnal. Each room has its own toilet! Shower just at the entrance next to the hot tub! Very nice! Highly recommend if you are a large group! No neighboor except sheeps!
