ONeil Hotel a wonderfully different place to stay
Stayed at the O'Neil this past weekend for my husband's birthday weekend. We had reservations for Chef and the Farmer for Saturday evening which was just down the street, perfect location for the restaurant and Mother Earth Brewery. We went to New Bern on Saturday very easy drive from Kinston.

High class for reasonable price
Beautiful hotel that was an old bank. It's in walking distance to everything you could want to do in Kinston, especially the Chef and Farmer. FREE BEER from Mother Earth Brewery which is right around the corner. Fair warning: most everything is closed on Monday, even the Civil War museum and the Brewery. The room itself was beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable. This was a great stay for an anniversary weekend.

This boutique hotel was an unexpected gem! Check-in was smooth and my stay was wonderful. It is so nice to see people in a small community embracing the idea of reinvigorating a downtown, instead of abandoning it.

I loved it there. The hotel only had 7 rooms, so you feel like you have the hotel all to yourself. Eating places are right by the hotel and you can walk to where you want to go. I would stay there again and again.

Exceeded expectations. I had no idea there are only 7 rooms in this hotel so I'm so glad we got one! Perfect for a night away at Chef and the Farmer.

It was a really awesome experience. To see how they converted an old bank into a beautiful hotel. Everyone was so helpful and we highly recommend you visit the O'Neil. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
