Awarded Grade II listed status in 2018, the property comprises three bedrooms, two reception rooms, each with their own wood-burners, a spacious kitchen, family bathroom and porch at the back of the house. It stands with its own private orchard and field, which extend to almost an acre.The house rests at one end of the hamlet of Bullocks' Mill. The surrounding area is very peaceful, and largely composed of fields and forests which feature several picturesque walking trails, including one along the river Arrow. Many wild species are in evidence - Buzzards, Red Kite, Owls, small birds such as finches and tits, dragon and damsel flies, abundant wildflowers and the rarer hedgehogs and slow-worms.The market town of Kington is some two miles away, and easily accessible by car or a footpath along an old railway line. Kington boasts quaint architecture, a deli, butcher's, organic grocer, plus co-op supermarket and a Friday local market, selling many fine foods and natural cosmetics produced in the area. The town also rests at the foot of Hergest Ridge - a well-known hill which runs from England into Wales, and is close to many other hills which offer excellent walking and stunning views, including Bradnor, site of the highest 18-hole golf course in England!With such a range of nearby attractions and the possibility of easy road trips to other interesting sites such as Ludlow Castle, the former spa town of Llandrindod Wells, attractive Welsh border towns Knighton and Presteigne, The Brecon Beacons National Park, and even the Pembrokeshire coast, which can be reached and returned from in a day, Park Style is the perfect destination for a family holiday, secluded couples' escape or artists' retreat.
