If you want a private getaway.

Posted 19-Feb-2017
This is a great spot to have quiet time...relaxing time with someone special. Theres not much near but shuttles and taxis are available. The old Port Royal is walking distance away. Glorias is a must. There are two of them and the food is good. They do tend to over cook the lobster though. All in all....this hotel is a quiet peaceful getaway.

This hotel was very quiet, comfortable, and serene. A place to relax and unwind away from all the hustle and bustle. Great hide away. The hotel would do well with a hot tub.

Pros: I liked the food
Cons: The rooms upgraded more friendly staff, need to be cleaner, need better breakfast, need different room for meetings so ppl don't have to eat outside
Location: Bad location things far away
Room was not the room I booked. It was suppose to be a two separate room with full size beds. They told me that room wasn't available so they was giving me a room with two twin. It was the worst hotel I every been toThe room didn't even have a phone to call the front desk. My tolit stopped up and it took over a hour for someone to come fix it

Stone's throw to great seafood

Posted 22-Jan-2017
Pros: Nice bar. Nice scenery. Hotel goes back to Colonial days, so rooms are large with a sitting area and a balcony. Comfortable bed. Nice shower.
Cons: Service could be better, but for the price, it can't be beat.
Location: Gloria's for lunch/ dinner. Excellent seafood.
We stayed at this hotel because we wanted to go to Gloria's in Port Royal for dinner. We were tired, having driven in form Montego Bay, and check-in was quite slow. We checked in at 6:pm and was told the room had to be checked to see if it was ready. I think if check-in is at 3:00 pm, the room should have been checked prior to that time. After the room was " checked", we had to ask for a comforter. There was none in the room. AC did not work properly. Remote, needed new batteries, so we went to the desk and got them (no phone in the room), but it still did not work. Could not change the setting off 25 degrees Celsius. I would recommend this hotel if you flew into the Kingston airport, or wanted to have a good seafood dinner without having to travel a far distance. Breakfast is included. OK.

Hôtel donnant sur la baie de Kingston

Posted 20-Jan-2017

Very laid back and comfortable

Posted 18-Jan-2017
Pros: The laid back picturesque atmosphere.
Cons: The bathrooms need plugs. My husband was unable to shave, and i was unable to curl my hair in the bathroom.the rooms also needs mini refridgerators.
Location: i liked the location alot. Close to the airport.
I was in Jamaica for my Grandmother's funeral, and stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It was very comfortable, and laid back. the staff was very warm and respectful. The dread in the bar was very nice and patient with me and my family. The staff at the breakfast area was exceptional, especially the young lady who did my husband's sunny side eggs every moning. The Head Chef was awesome with the meals he prepared. He even took time out of his busy schedule to come and have a chat with us.
