3.5-star Cottage with kitchen and deep soaking bathtub
Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms; 1 Super King with Sofa Bed. 2 Doubles. 1 single. Beechings Halt is a detached family house and is traditionally and very comfortably furnished in cottage style to an excellent standard as you can see from the photos. Stable latch doors, wood flooring, and exposed brick walls with beamed ceilings present a homely and country ambience. Being very spacious, it caters easily for a large family and is well-equipped throughout with oil central heating. The AGA in the kitchen gives a cosy warmth during those chilly colder months. There is parking for 2/3 cars to the front and a totally enclosed rear garden (secure for dogs) with lawn and patio, perfect for enjoying BBQ’s and eating alfresco. Entrance into the hall with staircase to the first floor. Ground floor: cloakroom with WC and washbasin; dining room overlooking the garden; lounge with leather suites and door to the conservatory which leads onto the rear garden. Second lounge with feature stove (multi-burner – logs left) with doors opening onto sun-trap barbeque area; farmhouse kitchen with AGA and breakfast area. Utility room and door to outside.First floor: Four lovely carpeted bedrooms; Master Bedroom with dressing area, wall-mounted TV, luxurious Super King bed and double sofa bed plus spacious and beautiful ensuite bathroom having freestanding Victorian roll-top bath, large shower, WC and twin washbasins; Bedroom 2 with a double bed, ensuite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC); Bedroom 3 with a single. Bedroom 4 with a double bed. Family bathroom having bath (hand shower spray), washbasin and WC.SHARED POOL Due to Covid 19 hygiene practise, there will be no towels supplied for the pool and the toilet facilities will not be available. Bed linen only will still be supplied. No towels.Parking; Space for 3 cars at the front of the property off road.Garden; Rear garden with private patio and lawn. Access to the pool off the lawn.Returnable breakage deposit £100. (RBD) Owners will contact the guest to collect payment nearer the holiday. Once the owner receives payment then the guest will be issued with arrival and departure details a week prior to their arrival. RDB is refunded back on to guests payment card a few days after their stay after owner/cleaner has confirmed no damages.Pets £30 per week per pet. PROPERTY CAN BE HIRED WITH BADGERS REST, WHICH IS NEXT DOOR ( 2 bedrooms) TO MAKE ACCOMMODATION FOR A FAMILY OF 12 AND BABIES.
