This getaway is very private, as there are no upstairs or downstairs neighbors, and very quiet bedroom spaces await for a good night's rest. With beautiful exposed ceilings, an airy ambiance, and a wood-burning fireplace, this sweet home feels like a secluded cabin in the woods while still being mere minutes from the heart of town. Everyone will have no trouble spreading out here, as the lofted layout allows for privacy when needed while the living area offers a flatscreen TV and plush furnishings for gathering each night. After a full day of lake adventures or lounging by the shared pool, the full kitchen will be calling your name to whip up delicious meals on all of the appliances of the home. Plus, an evening cocktail on the patio is never a bad idea as the sun dips behind the treetops. Kingswood Village is a very well-maintained complex with the following facilities: pool, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, bocce ball court, and fitness center. There is plenty of free off-street parking, and extra parking for boats, RVs, and so much more! The kitchen was kind of a joke too. 35 coffee cups and 4 glasses. Microwave was cracked. All in all it just felt neglected and rundown. Very disappointed in the cleanliness and the basics that were not provided. Beds and kitchen appeared to be clean, but there is mold on the walls in the downstairs bathroom and the carpets are filthy. The house desperately needs a deep clean. Downstairs toilet didn’t flush every time. Microwave was cracked and the handle was hanging on by a screw (we were notified by someone that they were working on this). No A/C (or circulating fan) which is fine, but the 3rd floor gets really warm and stays warm. Sliding glass door on the main floor doesn’t lock. Also lacks some basic necessities- we were given only a few half rolls of TP, no extra garbage bags except the one in the can, and 1/3 of a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. No kitchen towels or even a sponge to clean anything. We would stay in the area again, but unfortunately not in this house. ##### Nicole H. Water in shower never got hot. The floors have never been swept or mopped. Towels were clean. I dont understand why i paid a cleaning fee because this place hasnt see cleaning products in years. This condo needs a lot of updating. Lots of things broken. Condo was somewhat clean. A lot was sticky when we got there from some furniture and part of the floor. Trash from the previous guests was found on the floor scattered in various places by the couch. Fridge takes over a day to cool down once we put food in. ##### Carolyn A. Nice big TV, nice washer/dryer, no ice maker but had plenty of ice cube trays, clean but dated bathrooms, needs bath mats, more towels, really worn carpets, uncomfortable couchs, mattresses were fairly hard and not that comfortable, needs bedding upgrades, hard to tell if bedspreads/quilts had been washed, overall dark rooms, plenty of dishes, but only 3 wine glasses. For those that have concerns about steps this is not the place for you. There are 8 or so steps up to the front door, bottom floor has two bedrooms (K & Q) and bathroom. About 15 steep narrow steps up to second floor, fairly small living room/kit area and twin room with bathrm, third floor had the 3 twins/small loft area no bathroom. For the price (1200) and fees (500) tax (200) I'd keep looking. This condo was about the level of a 2 star hotel room. We didn't have any problems....just higher expectations. ##### CAROLYN N. The only problem was the oven was not working. The property manager was easy to get hold of but we didn't get a visit until the day before we left. The steps were icy and not kept ice=free. The closet doors were not hung properly and appeared broken. There were not enough towels, wash-cloths, for the number of people in the property. Thjere should have been more soap. One liquid soap per bathroom is not enough. There should be soap in the showers. ##### james r. All of that means we were able to enjoy our vacation at the lake. The pool was great for the kids and it stayed reasonably comfortable even in a heatwave. We all had plenty of room to spread out and keep ourselves organized.
