Spend quiet evenings by the fireplace or enjoy the glorious weather on either of the balconies. LIVING AREA Boasting large windows and vaulted ceilings, the living area offers a sunny space in which to kick back. A large sectional provides ample seating around the 40in flat-screen TV, while a gas fireplace with stone surround creates additional allure. KITCHEN & DINING Indulge your inner chef in the modern kitchen, appointed with sleek granite countertops. Start your vacation days with morning coffee at the kitchen bar for three. At mealtime, gather around the table for eight in the dining area. BED & BATH This condo sleeps up to eight guests between three bedrooms and the loft area. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a 32in TV, and direct access to the balcony. The adjacent bathroom includes a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin-size beds, while the third bedroom holds a king-size bed. Each bedroom also has a 32in TV. A guest bathroom offers a walk-in shower. The loft area functions as a festive game room with additional sleeping space. Enjoy PlayStation games on the computer monitor or chess matches at the table for two. When it's time for bed, the plush sofa converts to a queen-size sleeper. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES The lower balcony offers a covered retreat on sunny days. Take a refreshing dip in the unheated community pool after your mountain adventures. THE LOCATION Travel 1 mile from your front door to North Tahoe Beach. During snowy months, hit the slopes at Northstar (6 miles) or Squaw Valley (17 miles). Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Enough room for all 7 of us. Our problem was with the pool area. We came up for a baseball tournament. The team wanted to get together for a BBQ and swim but there is an old lady guarding the door that is extermely rude. I have never been to a hotel or condo that has someone at the pool door at all times. There is a signs NO lifeguard on duty but yet they have this lady at the gate; I don't understand the point of this. If you come up for a baseball tournament and plan to do anything together DO NOT stay here. We had 13 year old boys going in and out of the pool to use the restroom or get a drink and each time she would give myself or another parent a lecture about signing in and out or if we had a pool key and was extremely rude about it. She also said we had to leave at 7:20 but yet everything else says at sunset. She seemed upset we were even there and not welcoming at all. Luckily a representative was able to give me the code to the lockbox that has the key to unlock the deadbolt, but also the deadbolt seems like it’s on its last lock because it’s pretty loose to where it’s about ready to break off anytime soon. Although there’s no AC in the unit it does get cool at night if you leave all the windows open but it also gets very hot all day since it’s summer. It has new carpet and seemed very clean when we walked in. The big problem was in the kitchen. We encountered dirty dishes and pans in the cupboard that either had been poorly cleaned or not cleaned at all. There were also a bunch of light bulbs out in the main areas. The property manager was very responsive. We just wish it had been taken care of before we had arrived. ##### David L. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and easy to find. The house is bigger than I expected which was a great surprise, the kids loved the loft area. The condo is very outdated and a little dusty. The potholders hanging on the wall in the kitchen were dirty, the clock in the living room was on the ground leaning against the wall. We couldn't use the living room TV, it seemed that the cable box was unplugged, but when I plugged it in the box made a very loud humming noise. We also were not able to light a fire because the lighter that was there was empty. Also the bedroom on the second floor had no light because the light bulb went out. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I rented this condo in Kingswwd Village near Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe, California for two weeks. It was represented well by the online description .. upon our self check in our only concern was a Clorox spill/ stain that was in the hallway in front of the laundry room. We took pictures as soon as we walked in as we did not want to be blamed for the stain on the red carpet. It was not an issue for our stay. The fool lock worked flawlessly and we changed the lock code per the instructions to a 4 digit code and had absolutely no problems for the two week rental. The fireplace is now a " gas log" fireplace which made it super easy and clean as we enjoyed the fireplace flames and warmth on most nights. The condo was super well equiped as we enjoy cooking and all the pots, pans, dinner and glassware, down to the huge coffee cups and even the corkscrew were flawless. The extra linens, comforters, towels and such our stay very comfortable and efficient. Both bathrooms worked flawlessly with the exception of the tub drain/stopper on the bottom floor did not work but we just used the rubber sink stopper from the kitchen sink worked well as a temporary fix. We felt there was no need to contact the rental agency as the tip worked perfectly with our small fix...Vegas not a problem for us. The location of the condo was very accomodating as just across the road from the pool and exercise room. A very very quiet and peaceful location and always felt safe there.
