Clean, remodeled baths.

Pros: Clean, good breakfast buffet.
Cons: Hotel is getting a little old but well maintained. I’d stay again.
Older hotel but many recent renovations including baths. Fairly well maintained, good housekeeping, douvet covers changed daily.

Escaped Irma!

Posted 13-Sep-2017
Pros: Pet Friendly and clean.
Cons: The breakfast was just ok. An area for people with dogs to sit to eat would be nice.
Location: Very convenient...off Hwy 24.
We decided to evacuate from the hurricane and go to Kansas where we have family. Our mid way is stop is always Chattanooga. Our regular hotel was already booked so we read the reviews and decided this was the next best thing. What a relief. It was nice! It was clean and pet friendly. Although it took us 24 hours to go from our home to the hotel (normally takes 10 hours) they held our room. We arrived at 6a and they offered to extend our check out date to give us a little more time. Of course we were so tired we would have slept on a rock, but the bed was super comfy and everything was so nice. It's a little pricey (we paid $100/night) but we were also told there was some sort of festival that weekend. We were so thankful they held our room. I would definitely stay here again...hoping for a less expensive rate next time though. But overall I highly recommend it. I read reviews...and make my decision based on them, so please believe this review.

We stayed here on the night before the total solar eclipse of 2017. We had a change of plan on last day. The fact that this hotel was available so close to the totality path just a day before the event made me skeptical about its quality. I thought people must not have booked it because it was not nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff at the reception. The closet doors & furniture had a rustic look that was pleasing. They were old and reminded me of furniture from my home country. We did not have any problems with the bathroom, shower, AC, etc. The breakfast was fairly good. The breakfast area is a bit small, but one would expect that in an older hotel.

GOOD -Friendly staff -Great breakfasts - eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, fruit, yogurt, waffles, toppings, juices, coffee & more -Good location, central to a lot of touristy things -Lots of restaurants and stores in the immediate area if you're hungry or forgot anything -Clean -Fitness area has a lot to do (eliptical, treadmill, freeweights, nautilus, yoga ball, yoga mats -Decent size pool with a nice and clean deck area -Fridge and microwave were decent size and worked well for a hotel BAD -All the doors in our room squeaked really badly (exit, bathroom, closet, dresser, fridge). We reported it and they couldn't do anything, so we had to buy WD40 and fix it ourselves -AC in our room started out weak and got weaker throughout our stay. Didn't sleep well because of it. -AC broke in the gym starting on the 2nd day. Reported it that day and still wasn't fixed when we left 3 days later (although, I did lose a bit of extra weight because of this :D) -Booked to capacity, so I was unable to get any extra pillows -No towels in gym or pool area first couple of days FACTS -Beds and pillows are SOFT -Odd floor plan -Not spacious, but good value for the price

This was a convenient stop on our road trip with east Interstate access and a good value. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
