"Great location! Lots of surfing! Great for walking around
Layout of hotel is unique and comfortable.
Parking is a bit of luck , depending on parking availability, but fine
Plenty off food and beverage options close by .
Extremely good value hotel"
"The great location makes this place a good place to stay. In a very cozy country lane with pretty fields all around. It's a very pleasant walk to the pubs in town. And there are some excellent restaurants nearby. The room was fine. No lift so a bit difficult to get our heavy bags up to our room. The main issue we had was with the breakfast. One person is responsible for service and cooking. It took an hour to get our meal day one. The next day breakfast was not even set up. No water for coffee and no coffee cups. So we ate elsewhere. Hiring one more person would likely make breakfast work but, as is, I recommend trying one of the excellent places in town."
"Property was excellent and perfect stay. Host was very communicative and provided tremendous recommendations in the area. House was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay here if the opportunity came about and the host is willing. Thanks for making our trip so memorable!!!"
"At first were disappointed there were no hotels rooms available directly in Galway, but I'm so glad it worked out that way! The hotel is beautiful , staff were friendly, and the view on the beach was amazing. Parking was really easy and we found a restaurant close by called O'Grady's on the Pier which was a 5 min drive from the hotel and had 10/10 food and ambiance.
Our room was 7.5/10, there was no AC and it smelled a bit musty. We kept our ground floor patio door open as much as possible which helped. The room was also a bit dusty, sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower didn't have a glass door that closed just a partition which wasn't ideal. The shower did have great pressure and was nice and hot. Overall, I'm really glad we chose this hotel and would come back."
"Such friendly staff, easy going but really helpful with a lot of local knowledge, the room was cosy, had everything we needed and was clean with a new bathroom. The breakfast was good. The kitchen wasn’t open on the Thursday night we arrived, but they directed us to a local pub/restaurant"
"An old school hotel in the middle of Connemara. This was our second time staying the Cashel House Hotel and we have enjoyed both times. The cost is a bit pricey but worth it. The rooms are large with nice sitting areas. There's a small but well-appointed bar, and the restaurant serves outstanding food. "
"Super lovely property in a quiet small town with fabulous owners! They were so helpful & kind. The beds were the best & the pillows were awesome! Lots of room too! Their homemade breakfast bread & jam, granola, yogurt were the best! All before the main breakfast cooked to order! Highly recommend!"
