The room was completely dead on for what we paid. Clean etc and looked as described. However, we came on a weekend that turned out to be very warm and when we arrived the room was boiling. Nobody had thought to properly the window open/ close the blind to cool the room. There was no Aircon either. The window only opened a small bit. By bed time the room was still roasting and I asked at reception for a fan or if they had a cooler room or anything. They said all they had were a few fans but they'd already been given out to other guests so there was nothing they could do for me. Ended up sleeping on the floor as it was the coolest place in the room and there was nothing else I could do to cool down. Road noise also too loud to keep window open overnight. Room would be completely grand on cold days but wouldn't recommend staying here if you see signs it's going to be warm outside. I was aware that we booked cheap accomodation that wouldn't necessarily have Aircon. But I would have thought they'd atleast have done what they could to cool the room before we arrived / had been more prepared for extreme heat with enough fans for the guests.

A wonderful hotel with modern and old world charm. Staff was warm and welcoming. Had a medical issue and needed a clinic and they were more than happy to help me make arrangements and ensure that I was ok. Room was lovely- it was large with a small love seat for comfort. Everything was immaculate! Also made the best gin and tonic I’ve ever had! It’s right in the hop on hop off bus line so very convenient for site seeing. Lots of fun pubs and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel and would certainly go back!

Incomparable city centre location just off Grafton Street, opposite Bruxelles. Have stayed multiple times. Great studio apartments, spacious and really well appointed. Ideal for a weekend stay in the city . Cannot recommend highly enough.

The reviews on this have been variable so it’s time to weigh in with my own. Bottom line - if you want a decent stay for a cost-effective price, DO consider this. If you’re looking for the Ritz, it’s probably wrong for you. This is normally student accommodation and so is way better than a hostel while not being a hotel. You get your own, modern, fairly smart room with an en suite shower room and toilet. There’s also a modern shared kitchen/TV area with oven and microwave and washing up facilities just down the corridor. The crockery, kettle etc seemed to have come from Ikea and some were still in their plastic, to give you an idea. The fridge/freezer looked new as far as cleanliness goes. Yes, the shower was a bit slow to drain (design flaw I think), but that’s as bad as it got. Bella on reception was ever-pleasant and helpful and I was able to leave my suitcase for a few hours on the last day. This place is on the edge of the centre, so not a bad location. There are one or two places to eat, plus takeaways and convenience stores in easy walking distance. I personally feel I nailed it with this as a choice for a cheap city break - it met my expectations and did the job very nicely. Recommendation for a good break? Leave your car at home and order yourself a visitor’s Leap Card to get around. Dublin hates cars and has pretty great bus, train and tram (Luas) systems. I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t go far wrong.
