Luxury Home 3 mins to Nat Park, priv parking 4 cars, Secure Gates for families

This exceptionally well located modern quiet and family friendly gated detached accommodation is just four minutes walk to Killarney town and sleeps 8 people. The location is fantastic, opposite the National Park and the newly renovated Killarney House where Prince Charles and Camilla were hosted in their first visit to Ireland, just 3 mins walk from the house. The home is on the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way, near all the tourist spots, Muckross House and gardens, Torc Waterfall, the lakes of Killarney etc etc. There is plenty to do and see in Killarney and Eileen will be able to help you if you need more information on local tours and trips.
You can rent a bike just around the corner and get the entire family equipped with bikes and helmets, it is by far one of the best ways to explore in the National Park. Take a picnic on the day and you can sit and watch the deer graze and wander free around the fields.
Local shops a couple of minutes walk where there is a great selection of breads, scones etc., also serving hot and cold food, coffees etc, with off licence/Take Out for that all important bottle of wine. Getting around is easy, few minutes walk to the town centre, hire a car, take a big red bus which takes you around the main tourist attractions, get a taxi or hire a horse and trap and listen to the 'blarney' from the local jarveys. There is a local chauffeur on the estate, which you can hire, he also has a mini bus for larger groups. St. Mary’s Cathedral towers amongst the clouds with a backdrop of Killarney’s glorious lakes and mountains. Visitors are welcome to attend mass and/ or to explore this wonderful church at leisure. Eileen will have all the details for you on arrival and will advise you on best places to eat and best local irish pubs. You will have fresh irish brown bread, scones, butter, tea and coffee on your arrival. This home combines the warmest of welcomes and hospitality with modern luxurious facilities. Set alongside Killarney National Park, which has 26,000 acres of 'free to roam' parkland, this is a great location in which to explore the amazing surroundings which offers guests spectacular walking trails, cycle routes, historic tours, horse riding and lake activities. Your home is situated in an idyllic location, with town, nightlife, top class restaurants, and shopping just minutes away, yet within easy reach of wild and wonderful natural beauty of Killarney and ring of Kerry. You will be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and access to activities and memories that you will treasure for ever. If you like walking, cycling, horse riding this is the place to come. Take a bike and cycle around the magnificent Lakes of Killarney and take in the many breathtaking views along the way, or trot along on horseback and really get away from it all.
South and west of the town of Killarney is an expanse of rugged mountainous country. This includes the McGillycuddy's Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland, over 1000 metres high. At the foot of the mountains are the world famous Lakes of Killarney. Here lies the 26,000 acres Killarney National Park, which is just minutes from your doorstep. The distinctive combination of mountains, lakes, woods and waterfalls give the area a very special scenic beauty. Experience the wildlife as you walk along, wild red deer roam freely, rabbits and hares scuttle by and I do hope you are lucky enough to experience the magnificent Golden Eagle, (re-introduced during the last few years).
Walk the beautiful grounds of Muckross House, a 19th century mansion featuring all the necessary furnishings and artefacts of the period and is a major visitor attraction. Explore the arboretum, tour Muckross House and view the rooms Queen Victoria stayed in on her visit, when her bed was flown in, and many existing flourishes had been added to this majestic house for her arrival along with her entourage.
Muckross House and grounds are amazing, there simply aren't enough hours in the day to spend here.
Visit Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle or take a jaunting car; tours operate where no motor traffic is permitted.

If you want to go further you would not be in Kerry without visiting Dingle, on the way stop off at Inch Beach, where surfers, locals and those who have heard of the strand's breathtaking views come together.
Brave the Blaskets if you dare. Take the Slea Head drive from Dingle and go the the long way round through Ventry and past Paidi O Shea's pub. Suddenly you come to the sight of the three Blasket Islands in all their glory. Down in Dunquin, you can take a boat from the pier to the Great Blasket, where the echoes of Peig Sayers still ring around the deserted houses and stonewalls.
Don't forget to visit the Interpretation Centre with its views of the Great Blasket Island from the panoramic window. Stroll around and view the local art, artefacts and learn some irish history and culture. Don't forget to stop off at the coffee shop for freshly made scones, butter and jam.
Killarney's McGillycuddy's Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range, form a backdrop to the park and offer fantastic outdoor opportunities for hikers and climbers. The area also offers ample choice for golfing, fishing, horse-riding, canoeing, cycling and swimming, letting you choose how best to experience the natural highlights of the area.

Four fabulous weeks!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to rent this home! Location is perfect! A short walk into the happening town of Killarney. Where you’ll find great pubs and shops! Perfect location for a golf holiday. Ten minute drive to the Killarney courses. Centrally located to drive out to Tralee, Waterville, Ballybunion, Old Head, etc. This home was well equipped and immaculate! We had guests coming and going during our four week stay. All were very pleased with the accommodations. Eileen was available to offer assistance with whatever we needed...sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, also locating a driver to drive two of our guests to the Shannon airport. We would not hesitate to rent this property again!

An ideal golf trip lodging
This was the perfect house for a golfing trip to the south west of Ireland. Located on the edge of the delightful town of Killarney, walking distance from the center of a town loaded with restaurants and hosting a constant music festival, the house was perfect for your favorite foursome. It has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Well furnished, with comfortable beds, the house sported a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, and a washer and drier for laundry. Couldn’t have been a better spot for playing all the great courses surrounding the Ring of Kerry.

Best House in Killarney
This house is so relaxing, warm and bright and the communication is excellent. The property is in the best location in Killarney, as the house is quiet and just takes 4 minutes to walk to the centre. I got such good service from everyone from the beginning of the enquiry until I moved out.

Great House and Location
We had six adults traveling and the house was awesome, the on-suite bathrooms were perfect and everyone had plenty of space. House is very modern with many creature comforts, wifi etc. Location is great, literally four minute walk to city center, maybe five if you don't hit the cross walk lights perfect. Check in and out were stress free, Eileen met us on check in and did a complete walk thru of the house, gave great suggestions on where to eat and left two fabulous bottles of wine. We recommend eating at Cronins (we did twice) because the food was so good and Killarney Brewery for a great pint and flatbread pizza. Type of house I would book again without hesitation. Mary and Eileen thank you for being such great hosts. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was such a beautiful home in Killarney!! The owner and property managers were exceptional.
If you are traveling to the beautiful Killarney you should definitely stay at this house. We enjoyed every moment. The house is perfect in every way. All the accommodations you would ever need . The owner and property managers made sure the house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and if we had any questions they answered or helped within seconds of the call. They even gave us directions to highlights we should see in the area. We feel so lucky to have had this time all together in such a perfect setting....thank you so much !!!!

A wonderful comfortable home in a terrific location.
The home is comfortable for four couples with quality appliances and a roomy kitchen. The location is walkable for all of Killarney and the park. Mary is a fine and helpful hostess. The cash security deposit is a bit inconvenient.

Perfect House, Great Location
Our stay in Killarney was terrific. The house was beautiful...clean, beautifully equipped, great location. Mary and Eileen made us welcome, even left a nice goodie basket, which was so good. It is one of the best VRBO houses we have ever rented and will be telling our friends who visit Ireland about it.
