Hotel was very poor, cleanliness wasn’t good at all, reported broken curtains that needed fixed during our stay and they never bothered to look at it so we had light shining in to our room, bathroom and shower was awful 0 pressure at the shower head, TV hardly worked due to poor connections rammed into the wall . Would not stay here again !!!

Lovely hotel. Spotless clean. Staff were absolutely amazing especially Gabrielle.. She went out of her way to accommodate me. So much so I'm coming back again. Price was reasonable and facilities amazing Delighted thank you

Bad musty smell on corridor, wooden floor in bedroom caused beds to move around very easily, no batteries in TV remote, TV had no signal, chewing gum left on table in bar/restaurant. The worst part was the noise from the function room, the music was so load the windows were vibrating.

Hotel was nice itself and so were staff but there were parties/ weddings going in the whole weekend which meant lots of noise unfortunately

Hotel and facilities were fine except for the fact that The hotel serves no food after 9.15pm. Hqard to believe given how big it is. In addition, on Saturdays, you cannot get breakfast until after 8am. So arriving late and leaving early meamns zero foos options. On check out i was told i could have gotten a takeaway breakfast. Not good enough for such a large hotel.

The hotel staff was amazing, however there were a few things within the room that were unsettling! The shower was dirty behind the knobs, the shower curtain was missing about 3 rings and they hooked the additional holes in the curtain into the last available ring, the toilet had stains on the lid. The room phone was stuck on the hang up position so you couldn’t make a call out to the receptionist unless you pried the receiver upward to disconnect it from the base, I told them and they said someone would come fix it but no one ever came, they couldn’t explain anything regarding laundry service, they didn’t offer outgoing post. The dinning was meh, my kids got sick after breakfast and only ate the eggs in common. It just wasn’t worth the money I spent. Again lovely staff and hospitality.

Maldron Tallaght
The Good: Great facilities overall. Gym and swimming facilities are good. Close to Luas. Breakfast good and reception service excellent. The Bad: The evening restaurant food is sub standard for the price. Shame really.

The rooms where dirty, The toilet floor was disgusting and had bugs running around on the tiled floor, The music was blasting till 2am from a wedding on the Saturday and we where located on the 4th floor and you would have thought with the noise of it music we were in wedding itself. The fitness club had a lot of undesirables hanging around which didn't make us feel safe at all and especially the kids, There is no amenities available from the room even though they say there is room service theirs no menus in the room or information provided to actually see it. The QR code does not open up. The beds have wheels on it, you jump into the bed and next minute you nearly falling out the window. Staff where nice though.

Staff are amazing. Always there to help. Manager Finnula in particular was super considerate and helpful. Hotel is run down. Only 1 lift working when we stayed so was annoying having to wait as lift constantly busy. But what made staying in the Maldron hotel worth it was the staff

Pros: Location - walking distance to a big mall, 3 supermarkets, bus terminal, stadium, park with playground and lake. Free parking (perhaps if there's no event in the nearby stadium), there's loads of spaces. Pool and gym Cons: there's no air conditioning in the room, if it is peak of summer, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless the pool or location is your top priority rather than a comfortable sleep. you can request electric fan, but it isn't enough for me because: the hotel is at the corner of 2 busy streets, if you open the windows in summer you will hear the cars. the safe box has no batteries (either the previous customers took them and they are not replaced by the cleaners, or they had to be requested from the reception each time). the direction/instructions to get to the pool are not clear (Club Vitae, separate entity but there's a "secret" door from the hotel. receptionist instructed us to enter and register at the external entrance, so we had to go outside of the building first. afterwards, we could use the "secret" door.

Ok hotel. The rooms are outdated but functional. Not the cleanest of bathrooms though. The lift is a disaster though . Seems to have a mind of its own . The area around is very noisy and not the safest but then that’s Dublin at the minute in general. Decent car park and the reception staff are lovely.

Good room size, but strange details in room. Basic lighting and switches that don't work; a balcony / terrace outside room which is not accessible. Room was not cleaned one day, even though sign to clean room was on door and the cleaning trolley had been outside room. Staff embarrassed guest by single them out asking if they were staying in the hotel in a group of other guests while waiting for the one working lift. Waiting for the one lift was a constant topic of conversation for guests. Signposting to the public pool / gym was lacking.

The hotel was disappointing on a number of counts. 1 of the 2 lifts from the parking level was out of order and the stairs were locked so waiting for a very busy lift to let you get to reception took a good 10 minutes to let you in, this has been like this for months it appears. The room is fresh and clean, but no air con and it was cooking hot with only a fan added to try and stop you from sweating. The pool requires you to wear a swimming hat (not shown in any booking info we could see, and they want to charge you €3 each for a hat). The breakfast we reasonable and enjoyable. Finally the restaurant evening meal was all straight out a freezer and heated, zero taste, zero prep. Really awful and not cheap either.

Downhill.
Have stopped at the maldron in tallaght many times ,I am sorry to say it has gone downhill .could not open windows even though it was sweltering excuse given the balcony rails were not safe because they were rotten.also had to go to reception for clean towels.unless things improve will not return.

First time to Ireland
I stayed for two nights and was absolutely boiling the whole time, with nothing I could do about it as was unable to open the balcony door (appreciate policies). Way too hot in the rooms and corridors. The second night I stayed, there was a Somaliland independence party which was ridiculously loud. I had to sleep in the bathroom after giving up trying to sleep at 1am.. mind you though, the cold tiled floor was welcome. Staff all lovely and helpful, and hotel clean and pleasant. Not very chuffed with over €350 for the above two nights though.

I booked the hotel for a week. I stayed for less than an hour after checking in. It was awful. So hot, with no option for ventilation, as the windows do not open and there is no air conditioning. The place was not the cleanest, either. The staff, however, were some of the friendliest I had ever encountered.

Staff we're lovely. Dinner menu was delicious. Shower had no hot water the entire stay. Breakfast was disgusting. Got our room booking incorrecr upon arrival expecting 5 adukts to share 2 double beds.
