Enjoy Maui for less! DREAMING OF HAWAII? We invite you to stay at our family-owned Maui Vista condo (Building One, unit 124) in sunny, South Maui. This one bedroom, one bathroom 1st floor condo is across the street from Kamaole I beach, aka Charley Young Beach, one of the best beaches on all of Maui. Arrive and be immediately taken in by the comfortable island décor of this lovely condo. Many of the framed photos hanging throughout the condo were taken by us, and show the incredible beauty that surrounds us on Maui. Go explore and find YOUR paradise! Because hard surfaces are easier to keep germ-free, we replaced the flooring throughout the condo with wood-look flooring (LVP) so you don't have to wonder if it's clean... You'll KNOW it's clean! Our newly remodeled kitchen awaits you, with new cabinets, granite countertops, and gorgeous backsplash! You'll feel right at home! A full bathroom remodel was recently completed, a brand new mini-split air conditioner, new furniture, and kitchen expansion was completed this year. We are certain you will love these updates as much as we do! You’ll find all the comforts of home for either short or extended stays: • Fully equipped kitchen—stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, small appliances (coffee maker, Keurig machine, toaster, blender, etc.), dishes, cookware, BBQ utensils. • Luxurious and comfortable KING-SIZE bed • Queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room • Efficient mini-split A/C plus two ceiling fans to ensure you stay cool • Spacious lanai with table/chairs opening onto grassy courtyard • Private washer/dryer INSIDE condo • New LARGE Flat screen TV in living room • FREE Wireless Internet • FREE off-street parking • Beach towels, beach chairs, beach mats, umbrellas, beach toys, cooler, etc. • Portable crib for infants (crib sheets not provided) • All linens provided (except for crib) including sheets, blankets, bath towels, washcloths, etc. This condo is family-owned and is our home-away-from-home, so we have taken great efforts to make sure everything you need to enjoy your stay on Maui has been included. Is our condo a good fit for you? Good question! I look at hotels as having categories, and I think Vacation Rentals do, too. From a hotel perspective, I think of the categories as Motel 6, Best Western, Hilton, and Four Seasons. Budget/basic, Economy, Economy Plus, Luxury. I believe my condo fits between the Best Western and the Hilton. Better than basic, comfortable and clean, but not fancy. All the comforts of home, amenities to help you enjoy Maui, no need to bring a tux! IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW: \- This condo, it's attached lanai, AND the Maui Vista common areas are strictly NON-SMOKING. While Maui Vista does provide a smoking bench, no smoking OF ANY KIND is allowed anywhere on the property other than at the designated bench. \- The person making the reservation must be one of the registered guests. No reservations can be made for other people. Minimum age of primary guest is 25\. No more than 4 guests are allowed. Guest's identity and the number of guests will be verified at check-in. We appreciate your awareness and observation of these requirements. MORE INFORMATION ON SURROUNDING AREA: \- Kihei, Maui: Kihei is located in South Maui within 20 minutes of the airport. Kihei is home to miles and miles of the most incredible beaches in the world. Many of the beaches in South Maui have been officially recognized as being among the best in the world! There is also an endless variety of restaurants, shopping, bars, snorkeling, golf, fishing, and just about anything else you could desire from your Maui vacation. From Maui Vista, it is a very short walk up the road to Kihei Kalama Village, where there are terrific shops, restaurants, and bars- all in an open air setting. \- Maui Vista: Maui Vista is made up of 3 buildings, and is located in South Kihei. Building 1 is closest to the ocean, then building 2, and finally building 3 is furthest inland. Each building has a small pool, two tennis courts (pickleball is now allowed), and a BBQ area. Directly across the street from Maui Vista is Kamaole I Beach, aka Charley Young Beach. Charley Young is known as a family-friendly swimming beach. There is lots and lots of sand, bits of nice shade, rarely seems crowded, and the slope of the sand into the water is gentle. Perfect for boogie boarders, waders and swimmers of all ages!! \- In General: Looking for surfing instead? No problem. Take a right when you leave Maui Vista and the next beach to your left has plenty of the best beginners waves around. Looking for snorkeling? You will find Maui and the surrounding islands loaded with some of the best snorkeling sites around. You can drive down the coast and find endless choices of snorkeling sites where you just walk into the water and start enjoying. Or, you can go out on a snorkeling excursion to Molokini, Lanai, Molokai, or any of the special coves around Maui. There are more choices than you can imagine! The same goes for scuba diving, hiking, fishing, zip lines, or any other excursion you can dream of trying. I suggest picking up a copy of Maui Revealed well before your trip to Maui, and start reading up on your options. It was clean, stocked with beach gear, and being on the ground level was so easy. Short walk to Kam 1,2,3 beaches where we saw turtles, snorkeled, and played for hours. It is perfected located and central on Maui. The beaches are very near located and are one of the most beautiful. Contact with the owner was very friendly and helpful. The condo is centrally located in Kehei and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, food trucks, and is right across the street from Charlie Young Beach. It is also easy to access all different areas of the island from this location.The condo itself is very comfortable and great for both adults and with small children. There are also several tennis courts as well as a pool on the property, which are very close to the unit.The unit has all of the amenities that one would need, however, I would advise to bring all of your own toiletries, as well as stopping by the local Costco or a grocery store to pick up such provisions as coffee, tea, etc., which are not provided.Marie is a wonderful host and is incredibly responsive to any questions that you might have before or during your stay. The beach acces was right across the street and lots of nice cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. Due to the location next to the parking lot it wasn’t very comfortable to sit outside in the evenings. We also had plenty of small ants and a big centipede in the apartment. The location of the unit was amazing. We didn't use much but the kitchen seemed well stocked with anything you could need. The whole condo looked just like the pictures. The closet of all the beach things was amazing. Fins, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. All of the things you would need to go to the beach, was there. The bathroom was nice and updated. Shower head was surprisingly high up which was good for my tall husband. Bed was comfortable. Great storage. The only thing I would add is an easier plug for a charger on both sides of the bed, not just the one. But there was a great area to charge your devices. The ac worked great when needed and there was an extra fan to help move the cool air. I was very happy with this unit and would look to book this if we ever get to come back to Maui. ##### Jillian M. I booked at last minute, decided to attend my 55th high school reunion (Baldwin ‘68). Sadly no family left on island so have to rent accommodations. I’ve stayed at several units over the years, but this was by far the best. Marie has excellent taste & a great contractor (her husband). Maui Vista itself is one of the older complexes, but this unit is freshly redone and done well with good components & materials. What impressed me over and over was her attention to detail in design & in provisions: Keurig coffee maker & pods, bags of Maui coffee & coffee maker. A basket filled with snacks. The location was perfect being so close to Charley Young Beach! This is my first trip to Maui and it will not be my last. When I had to reach out to the owner they answered very quickly. Even though they have a property manager that handles the day to day that I was supposed to reach out to they never made me feel like I was a bother or imposition when I realized my mistake. It was not pointed out to me at all. I am a princess when it comes to beds and this condo had one of the most comfortable I have ever slept when travelling. I loved the addition of a vacuum which made tidying up after a long day at the beach a joy rather than the standard broom that many places have. We chose this place because of the location across from Charlie Young Beach and bc of the amenities provided in the condo, namely W/D, Keurig, AC and beach toys. Once we checked we were pleasantly surprised by the large flatscreen, goodies, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and sofa bed. Everything was clean, orderly and functional, and it was just as described. We've stayed at Maui Vista Condo before, but this was the first time we had a ground floor unit and it won't be the last; it was far more convenient than an upper floor unit, especially when you're bringing in groceries. The only downside to the ground floor, which was minor, was that everyone walking could see us unless the curtains were drawn. Overall, my family had a terrific time at this unit. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to changes and I'd happily stay here again. ##### Dennis S. Spent most our time on the large lanai which is a benefit of 1st floor. The complex now has pickle ball in addition to tennis courts and the office will rent paddles at reasonable price. King sized bed was a plus and very comfortable. Unit was well equipped with dishes & quality cookware. All the basics, included, laundry soap, dish soap, bathroom necessities included. A/C & fan in living area and fan in bedroom. All furniture very comfortable. Didn't need the A/ C much because no direct sun & fan in the bedroom was enough to keep it cool for sleeping.
