Enjoy peaceful ocean views and a serene setting that feels tucked away, yet close to everything. The Space: Welcome to Villa 8, a beautifully remodeled one-bedroom, one-bath retreat just steps from two of South Maui’s most beloved white-sand beaches. Inside, the villa features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and a private lanai—ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The bedroom includes a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, while the living room offers a full-size sofa bed suitable for one adult or two small children. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower for added convenience. Villa 8 is thoughtfully stocked with all the extras that make travel easy, including an iron and ironing board, Tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, beach towels, and a drying rack for swimsuits after a day at the beach across the street. You’ll also find everyday essentials provided for your stay, such as plush bath towels and linens, kitchen towels, Nespresso and drip coffee makers, travel-size shampoo and soap, dish soap, salt, pepper, and olive oil—everything you need to settle in and enjoy your Maui getaway. Guest Access: Guests have exclusive use of Villa 8, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai. Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property. Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach. The Neighborhood: Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park, where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons, or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one-minute walk from the property front gate. Getting Around: For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. The best feature of this property is the location -- one block from Charley Young beach and right across from a surf beach that's perfect for paddle boarding. The villa was nicely presented, as soon as you go past the main gate and walk to your villa, you know you’re on holiday. The little pool area and the plants make you feel like you’re in paradise. The villa itself was clean and well kept. We were able to use the paddle boards and boogie boards that were provided - super handy having it stored just outside of your villa. The location was perfect. Across the villa, is the cove beach where you can see locals rocking up and go paddle boarding/surfing. If you walk a little further down to Charley Young Beach, this place is amazing for sunsets. We watched the sunset every day - it was amazing. There are so many food places around which makes this place the perfect location to stay. It’s also easy to get around - whether you want to explore the north island or the south, Kihei is a great starting point. We’d love to come back here! Our favorite place to stay is Maui Cove Park Inn. The villas are very clean and have a cozy, comfortable feel. We love the privacy of having our own little stand alone home, that a high rise cannot possibly offer. Also the added convenience of driving right up to your door is a great plus. The property grounds are lush and well maintained, providing a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy time on the patio or a barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave etc. etc. Laundry facilities are right on site, so no wasted time at the laundromat. The manager is very helpful and goes beyond the norm, with a sincere desire to ensure your stay is comfortable, as well as memorable. Improvements and updates are ongoing. If anything were lacking, it would pale in comparison to the great location. The ocean is just across the street!! A few things we enjoyed that were very convenient due to location, are stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, great snorkeling, whale watching, and moonlit ocean strolls. There are excellent parks and beaches, water sport rentals, grocery and health food stores, restaurants, nightlife, and a library, all within short walking distance. We really enjoy our time at Maui Cove Park Inn. We hate to leave, and can't wait to return!!!! ##### Gary & Carol L. Beach chairs need cleaning (some soiled spots), bed was comfortable and clean! I’d recommend adding a bathroom fan or noise defuser since the door allows all noises in and out.
