Partial ocean view condo with pool & just steps to beach. WOW- discounted rates on the beach in N Kihei!! Stay with us while they continue the repair efforts on the far end of the building & some of the beachfront from the Feb 2025 storm. Easy beach access is still available, giving our guests access to 5 miles of beach right in front of our property. Guest favorites – the Sugar Beach Bake Shop, Ululani’s Shave and ABC store are just a short walk down the beach. While the communal beach front patio area may be temporarily unavailable off and on as work progresses, an additional propane BBQ has been added in the pool area, making 2 BBQs available for guest use. The pool is ready for a swim! This is a constantly evolving situation, but we will do our best to keep our guests updated as things progress. Stay with us during this time at this incredible rate and continue to enjoy all that Kihei and Maui in general have to offer. This 2nd floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is a popular vacation rental with many repeat visitors year after year. Sugar Beach Bake Shop, Farmer’s Market, ABC Store & Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice are just a few minute walk via street or beach. Conveniently located less than 15 miles from OGG airport, Maui Ocean Center, Ma'alaea Harbor and more. Easy access from here to all Maui has to offer! The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room has a sofa sleeper with a queen size pullout bed. (Though we've purchased the best sofa sleeper we can find on island, please keep in mind it is in the end, a sofa sleeper and is probably best for children and not adults.) There is a separate A/C unit in both the bedroom and living room. A well equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Furnished lanai with a small, partial ocean view (exact view varies with landscaping maintenance) and lush tropical landscape is the perfect place to enjoy coffee, cocktails, dining or simply to enjoy the ocean breeze. There is a gated pool and two separate bbq areas, as well as a grassy lounge area by the beach. The beachfront lawn area has lounge chairs, umbrellas as well as tables for dining outside or to enjoy watching the incredible Maui sunsets or the Humpback whales as they frolic offshore (seasonal). These areas are shared with the other guests in this low-density complex (only 24 units total). Communal pay-to-use washer and dryers are available for guest use on the lower level of the complex. Machines are paid for and operated via a cell phone app. Free, private WiFi available in the condo. Beach towels, cooler and beach chairs available for our guest's use. Left behind umbrellas and toys such as boogie boards and snorkel gear may be available from prior guests, but availability and condition are not guaranteed. \*\*We are located on the second floor of our building, which is the top floor. There are no elevators on property and our condo is only accessible by stairs.\*\* For guest and property security, exterior cameras monitor the common exterior areas, such as the parking lot. Great base for exploring Maui due to its central location - you can easily get to the major south, north and west roads from here. Kihei is a convenient location in the middle of the island that allowed us to explore the east and west sides of the island easily - a rental car really is needed to explore all Maui has to offer. The property was as pictured and just steps from the beach. We loved that it was away from the resort areas of the island and offered an excellent value for the money. Erin was truly an exceptional host. Her communication prior to booking, pre-arrival and during our stay was outstanding. Perhaps the best we have had. We absolutely loved our 12 day stay in Erin's condo. It had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night making it easy to sleep. The location couldn't be better - the condo is on the ocean side, literally a few steps from beautiful Sugar beach. Less than a 5 minute walk away, there is a bakery, an ABC store and Ululani's, which is by far the best shave ice on the island. All the restaurants in Kihei and Wailea are no more than a 10-15 minute drive away. Same with Costco, Target, Safeway, Walmart, etc. Erin is a wonderful host. She was super easy to communicate with and always responded quickly whenever I needed to reach out to her. If I'm ever lucky enough to make it back to Maui, Erin's place will definitely be my first choice for accommodations. ##### Charlene K. The beachfront location was great and the condo had everything we needed. Our two year old toddler also very much appreciated the Hawaiian themed children's book in the condo. It is centrally located and well stocked. The owner was communicative and responsive and the property itself was a good size for a chill vacation. There is a decent peekaboo view of the ocean from the lanai and we enjoyed sitting out there to enjoy the ocean breezes. I can see how a small family of 4 would also enjoy this space. We will definitely be looking to stay here again on our next trip to Maui. ##### James B. The listing and pictures were accurate. The location was central and close to everything. The condo itself was very well equipped. The cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella were very handy and saved us from renting. Much higher quality than we expected. The host was friendly and helpful. Right from lots of sun screen bottles to kitchenware, zip lock bags, hooks for towels etc. The sofa bed was really good and not the usual cheap springy found in most hotels. There was a possible storm that was going to hit the other side of the island, and she messaged us important information about where flashlights were etc., just in case! This is definitely a hidden gem… The condo was absolutely immaculate! We really enjoyed our time in Maui, thanks in huge part to our stay! (Loved the AC at night too! Bonus!) We rented this apartment and the one across from it. First, Erin was wonderful, kind, helpful- the absolute best. Second, the apartments were so clean. We had everything we needed. The complex is quiet and beautiful, and they have the sweetest couple managing the property. Last, we loved our location. We were 20 minutes from the airport. We had a coffee place and bakery right down the road, along with a produce stand, ABC store and shaved ice stand. We will definitely stay again. ##### Desiree B. However, that said, the unit and the building were well maintained. There were abundant linens, the the decor was tidy and it is ON the beach. It is on a second floor with a long straight stairway(no elevator), but the second floor gave us a peek view of the ocean from our roomy patio. There is a well entrenched community of owners there for the winter who gather every evening on the lawn at the beach. They were very friendly and welcomed us into their daily sunset party ##### James H. This place was truly magical. Erin and her on island POC went above and beyond to make our stay flawless. From the very beginning of our planning, Erin was always very quick to respond to my many questions which made things very easy for me to finish put the rest of the pieces together. We even left a sensitive item behind that was recovered and mailed to us the same day. As I said, above and beyond!! The condo has a very home like feeling that was perfect to come back to at the end of each day. It had everything we needed for a 10 day stay from kitchen essentials to beach chairs.
