Modern hotel with a spacious suite. There is a mall with a great supermarket across the road. The location is good, the problem is the bad traffic in kyiv. Food is very good.

Ther is nothing negativ to say about anything in this hotel,,, its clean, good food and all staff is werry friendly The location is good and noy much trafic outside the hotel.

Hotel is good,tea station at the room,but our request for room with bathtub was ignored (, at time of arrival no rooms with bathtub. Good bier pub at the property, nice breakfast there a la carte. Location is not too far from city center, underground station 7 min walk, big shopping mall opposite. Area around hotel looks so poor- nothing interesting but safe. Swimming pool closed for the construction more than one month,that sound strange. Looks like special reason to safe owners budget). Anyway i recommend Mercure Kyiv for short stay.

Comfortable and welcoming
This is a very comfortable hotel - no doubt about it! It is very "design". Personally I wasn't convinced by the "design": key design word here seems to be DARK! For instance, my room (809): in the dramatically dark corridor, I couldn't actually see where to apply my key card to get into my room! Once into my room ... comfortable, certainly, and high-ceilinged ... but maybe a bit oppressive in its dark-painted walls. Nice, simple breakfast with fairly good choice of offerings ... but I agree with another reviewer: the "hot" dishes are simply not kept warm enough. I too experienced the un-alluring cold fried eggs. The hotel's reply to that previous reviewer's comment was that they were striving to improve. I'm sorry to report that as of mid-August 2019 the fried eggs are still cool-going-on-cold! Nice hotel, though. I'll probably choose it again next time I'm in Kyiv.

Hotel it self is good, 20-30 minutes from city centre. Just opposite from big shopping center. The staff is good, room is clean (there were not just cotton pads and earsticks). Staff in the restaurant is very and very slow, I ate about 7 times in this restaurant. Also the food was bland a few times, and there was never salt and peper on the tables. But in general the food was good. The pillows were very soft and dont support your head and neck.

I really enjoy your property when I'm in Kyiv, but wish there could be one other English language television channel beside 'Animal Planet'. I don't speak Russian or Ukrainian so basically cannot watch any news shows during my 4 or 5-day stays. Also, I noticed that the lighting in my room was very low intensity during this visit. That made it hard to read, as the room seemed very dim even when all the lights were on. (I have not experienced this during previous stays at your hotel.)
