"Nice for the price"
Visited the Bawa Suites on Sept 14th. We had requested early check in, and I was advised it was subject to availability. Upon arrival, was greeted very warmly by the representative, and was given early check in. The hotel is well located. If well maintained, and more thorough cleaning, it would be a very good hotel. The staff are very helpful. On the last day, I requested late checkout, and that was also granted. Breakfast was good. Had trouble with the card key to enter the room. Had to have it reset everyday, which was quite annoying, however, maintenance would come right away to help and open the door, would fix the key and same thing would still happen again. Not impressed with the WiFi service. WiFi was available in the room only, and once you stepped out, eg. for breakfast, you have to log in again with your secure password. We had two mobile phones, one phone would work and the other would not. Came to a point where I gave up trying to log in each time I returned to the room. However, I do have to commend that the first time I had a problem logging in, someone from IT dept called me to help with logging in. It was just too tedious to have to call for help every day, sometimes twice a day, to log in.
At breakfast, there was a young man, could be family member of the owner, who talked loudly on the phone, which was very disturbing. Also he made these loud burping sounds, which was disgusting, especially when one is eating.
