A little more expensive than I expected for the room but the staff was accommodating and the location was very convenient. Parking is always a challenge in Key West but they have some availability if you’re renting a car.

Historical hotel, our room was small, very cute, quiet. Clean room. They had a nice pool/breakfast area. Close to walk to everything. Only complaint I would have is lack of parking. I would definitely stay there again.

The property and our room were about as clean as you can get. The pool area and bar/breakfast area was a great place to hang out. We simply liked everything about this hotel. We will definitely be back.

Parking in the island can be a little complicated as it's very limited... although, the city has provided us with many free parking spots in the area. Side streets like Olivia St. and Pine St. have plenty available (as long as you follow the street signs and do not park on a "Residential" Spot) . Shower water never got hot. Front door had 1/2” gap so the AC was not able to keep the humors out. Room was damp. Great breakfast, pool area and tiki was very nice.

I was going to give this place 3 stars had I been contacted by the manager as I was promised. I stayed almost a month ago and still no return phone calls. Why? Because we had no working AC for 24 hours in 78-80 degree weather. Not only that, but it was putting out hot air and not working It was truly almost suffocating. Nothing was addressed, nor were we given another room, discount, anything. A stranger appeared at noon the next day informing us of broken AC in 4 rooms. Just had to “deal with it.” I never complain because its vacation and I know things malfunction, but for what I spent, not worth it. My fiancé and I stayed the beginning of January. It is more of a motel feel than hotel. I honestly wish I spent more money on an airbnb. The walls are paper thin. Our neighbors (with small child) were very loud, but at the smallest noise in our room, would bang on the wall. The shower is also very small. The shower just about spits enough water to shower. The room is also not that big. Bed, tv, mini fridge. No elevators, which isn’t a big deal at the end of the day, but we had a ton of luggage and the ramps and flooring were uneven and not easy to transport on. Housekeeping was great. Flooring was being done, along with other very loud work at 7-8 am on a Saturday. The young, male bartender was very nice. Walk to Duval is about 20-30 minutes. There also is a pool. It’s a shame Expedia advertises this as a “favorite.” Read the reviews before booking!

Our room was very small. The mattress was bowed and higher at the foot-end. The toilet gurgled and the water would drain from the bowl. The AC is very noisy. Avoid Room 101A.

My family and I loved the Palms Hotel. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. My only suggestion is that they put in hand rails to get onto the property. There are only 3-4 steps to get to the office and rooms, but I needed assistance, as I walk with a rollator. If hand rails are installed on each side of the steps, they would be inconspicuous and not alter the aesthetic of the building. We will definitely be returning in the future!

This is a beautifully maintained hotel with salt water and temperature controlled pool in the historical district. The rooms are small, especially those with two double beds, as well as the bathrooms, but it has charm and wonderful staff. It has Sits. And tables around the patio and pool, but lacks elevators and appropriate ramps for individuals with mobility issues. Parking is limited and it is at least one mile from the important sightseeing areas. Due to the charm and safety of the neighborhood, this should be no issue for those who love to walk.

Victor was very welcoming and so helpful upon checking in! Other staff that we encountered we friendly too. My only complaint is that the pool was not clean at all. There was algae growing and cloudy. I saw people come skim the water and “vacuum”, but that did not help the issue.
