We just wanted to thank the hotel very much for our stay last night. The staff are amazing, friendly and all deserve a big pay-rise and appreciation! Improvements - Possibly making the breakfast options larger but it was free so we can’t complain! Apart from this, we are used to paying a lot more money for a worse hotel / service so we are very grateful and will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

My only complaint is that there were small pieces of mold in my shower. The bed was comfy, the staff was nice, no complaints otherwise.

No bed linen on the sofa bed only a duvet, asked at reception but was given another duvet and not sheets, also very limited toilet roll, half a roll between three people not really enough and yes i could of asked for more but wasnt really wanting to go through to reception in the middle of the night in my pjs, and quite honestly feel like i shouldnt need to ask it should have been there

Positives - £55 a night for 2 people including breakfast seems like a good deal to begin with. Location is great and close to restaurants/train station. Negatives - I’ve never stayed in such a noisy hotel. You can hear the conversations of the guests in rooms next to you and can hear people walking up and down the corridors above. This resulted in a really poor sleep. We booked breakfast but were never told on arrival about this or what time it would finish so we just presumed we could access this up to check out time (11am). However, we found out in the morning breakfast finishes at 09:30 which we missed. Despite the room booking before for 2 adults there was only one large towel in the room. Overall it’s what you pay for however if your looking for a quiet night sleep I’d recommend considering another hotel.

Lovely chill out break
Perfect 2 night stop off to break our journey. Very welcoming, comfortable and clean. Staff were exceptional, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and any requests were met with enthusiasm. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

We liked everything with our stay, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very nice and our room was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in, all in all the deal was very good value.
