Lovely hotel!

Posted 11-Apr-2016
We loved our stay at the Victoria. It's in easy walking distance of the main Canterbury shopping areas. The room was very big and spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was very big with lots of character and the food was amazing!! Overall a perfect stay :) I would definately stay again.

Easy access by car and free parking

Posted 10-Apr-2016
Pros: Accessible location by car, within walking distance of city centre
Cons: General up-dating, staff on reception
Location: historic city centre 10-15 minutes walk away
Perfectly convenient and reasonable if not exceptional

Es un hotel cómodo, un poco antiguo, en un tranquilo barrio residencial lejos del centro. Tiene un buen restaurant, estacionamiento gratis y buena calefacción. La habitación para 4 personas resultó cómoda y amplia.

Cantetrbury reasonable price comfortable hotel

The Victoria Hotel is ideally situated for a visit to Canterbury. Ten minutes easy walk. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. The downstairs bar and lounge and conservatory areas were lovely for just relaxing. Price was fine.

Fab stay in Canterbury

Posted 07-Feb-2016 on Hotels
As a family of 4, we stayed just 3 nights for sightseeing in Canterbury and visiting friends. The hotel was only a 15minute flat walk away from the centre of town. Family room was a great size, plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and buscuits supplied each day. I would return again and also recommend others.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a very good evening meal in the restaurant at a reasonable price. Easy to find, ample parking and just a short walk to the city centre where there is a great choice of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Not very pleasant

I was unable to sleep well as walking on the stairs was horribly heard in room 212. Beware of this room during active holiday periods!!!
