Lovely accommodation
Nice rooms above a pub. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious too. Highly recommend a stay there.

Lovely village pub
Very nice pub in a beautiful quiet village location just outside the very pleasant coastal town of Hythe. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Room was simple but comfortable, and had Sky Sports in the room, which was a bonus (very rarely found in luxury hotels!). Pub has a car park as well as very safe on street parking outside. Full English breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely bedroom with very comfortable 4 poster bed. Few minor repair issues, peeling wallpaper in upstairs hallway and small bits of mould in en-suite. It took over 45 mins for a simple plate of English breakfast to reach us in the morning but the breakfast was very tasty. Would stay again.

A lovely location, very pleasant and friendly staff. The rooms are not fancy but neither is the price. The bed and pillows were very comfy although ironed bedding and a valance sheet would have improved the look. Very good value for money.

Good home cooked breakfast made to order plus cereals and juices. Room was clean and tidy. Decent B&B for resting your head. Slept well.

Great welcome and fab food
Great welcome from all the staff, very organised with checking in and room details. Fab dinner and breakfast. The bedroom was lovely , bathroom needs updating but the owner explained that they were in process of doing this so no issues.

We found plenty of free parking in the road outside the hotel, the staff were very friendly, bed was comfy, we had sky tv and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll stay here for sure.

Quiet village
Owners were very friendly. Room was big, a bit dated but everything you needed. Extention lead with usb points was useful. Breakfast was good, cereals juice and full english although no vegetarian sausages which is a surprise nowadays!

Lovely location for stay near port lympne.
Lovely warm friendly welcome. Room was spotless, comfortable and nice bright and airy. Plenty of space and nice hot shower. Very local for port lympne, less than 15 mins drive. We chose not to have the breakfast as we left very early.

A great traditional pub with comfortable warm rooms above. Suited me and my dog very well before catching the Eurotunnel the following morning. Had the most wonderful meal excellently presented. I gather the owners haven’t been there very long but if they keep doing what they are then they will make it a very popular place to stay over.

More pub than hotel.
More of a pub with rooms than hotel, but that's no bad thing. We use it as dog friendly, both the pub and customers! Good beer and food, welcome and warm. Could do with a bit of decorating here nd there but it's good for us.

Older hotel but interesting atmosphere with bar taking most of the first floor of the hotel. Great breakfast. Biggest problem was finding the hotel. We bought a map of the town and still couldn't find it. The hotel signage could have been a little more prominent. Then again, this is England where so many streets wander off in odd directions making it very easy to lose your way. Had a good experience once we arrived.

our stay
Arrived on Saturday about 1.30ish pm lady behind bar very friendly asked we could have lunch to be told kitchen was now closed thought that was extremely early but was told cafe across road could be open. We were shown to our room by another member of staff also friendly, The room was very compact and our opinion not very clean , wardrobe very hard to open due to no handle on door. as we were only staying one night we decided we would put up with it, early in the morning somewhere in one of the other rooms someone was having a shower which woke us up it was so noisy, breakfast was ok but only ok, toast was hardly toasted . So all in all would not stay here again .
