The room is big. The complimentary items like bottle of water, coffee, tea bag, ... are in good quality. Free parking available. Free WIFI. A very good Breakfast included.

The hotel was nice and would have been a perfect stay, however the lady on reception ruined what was a nice weekend. She refused us a late checkout and made no sense as to the reason. Instead of enjoying a leisurely weekend we had to rush to leave the hotel. Her manner was incredibly poor.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They helped me to change my booking when I had made an error and went above and beyond to make sure I still had all the amenities I was looking for. Amazing food and rooms. And pet friendly which is so hard to find. Will most definitely be coming back!

Lovelystay. Staff were very friendly. Evening meal service very slow even though the restaurant was half empty but probably brcause of a private party in the bar.area.

Nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. What's not to like. Even though the weather was bad.. The hotel and nearby pubs were warm and welcoming.. Even if the prices are high. It's worth it.

Great location within easy walking distance of the town. Onsite free parking. Lovely big room with the most ginormous bed, room was a bit hot but there was a fan and you could easily open the window. Clean spacious bathroom. Tea,coffee and water in rooms basic but adequate. Would have liked a bit more information in the welcome book, should have really been some details regarding fire exits etc.. as there was nothing in the rooms at all regarding this.Only real criticism was that cook breakfasts were luke warm rather than hot and buffet could have been better with more choice of fresh fruits and pastries. However would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay to Tunbridge Wells

Lovely elevated location, bright and airy reception, bar and restaurant areas. Bar had shut at 10:30 on a Saturday when we got back so no night cap for us that night! But would definitely return.

A lovely hotel. The only reason i didnt give a 5 was because my breakfast was luke warm. This could just have been a one off so dont let it stop you staying there. I would stay again

Great Stay
Booked this for family going to a wedding. Boys said it was the best room they had ever had and the beds were super comfortable. They really enjoyed the breakfast also.

Front desk staff was helpful and nice. We had 3 rooms which all looked updated and clean (#7, #18 and #10). There is no A/C so the rooms were a bit warm and stuffy especially at night (even with the oscillating fan) - August stay. Parking was limited in front of hotel, but we were able to snag a spot each night (street parking otherwise). Enjoyed breakfast each morning and the ability to grab a beer at the bar - convenient! We had a 4 night stay, but one of our 3 rooms had a broken/unusable toilet for the first 3 days which didn’t get fixed until the very last day! Family in that room had to go downstairs to use the public toilets near the bar. Jonathan, at the front desk, did try to get it fixed sooner but couldn’t. He did compensate us for 1 night stay for the inconvenience. Reasonable walking distance to shopping, restaurants and Tunbridge Wells commons. Beau Nash Tavern is also right next door and was a nice place to hang out with good food and drinks! Would consider staying here again on our next visit.

Lovely hotel, great location but...
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were great, breakfast was lovely although a refill of tea or coffee would have been nice. We had dinner there one night which was great and good value for money. Location was very central. Our only gripe was the room. It was clean but a little dated and worn. It was a hot weekend and we couldn't open the window because of the drone of the kitchen fans outside. Also it is an old building and every floorboard creaks so the sleep wasn't great. We were at the end of a corridor so had no other guests passing our door and it was still very noisy with creaking. We would go for a meal there but not stay again on our experience.

Good hotel , a pretty old english one, but costantly revamped. Kind and serviceable personnel, great cleanliness! Perfect for a visit of the town! Nice Breakfast and Private parking was quite satisfactory too!

Stayed here whilst watching a show in town. Staff were very polite throughout. Room was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was also included which was very nice too. Will certainly be staying again in the future.
