Driving the UK
We booked and paid for a "King" bed, all confirmations read a king bed but when we arrived we were given a queen bed, we approached the reception about this and was told very clearly it was a king bed and all the rooms on that side of the motel had king beds. We always book king beds where ever possible and stayed in London and Bath and both had king beds, we know what a king bed is, however rather than fuss we let it go.
We decided to have dinner at the motel but first went for drinks at their bar, Peter the barman was excellent, very helpful but then when we moved to the restaurant disappointment set in again, the food was fantastic but the service very poor, we wanted another drink and desert but decided to give up and go back to the bar and had a packet of chips and a drink.

I will pass your complements onto Peter and the Kitchen for the good service and meals you encountered, however, I will investigate the lack of service your had in the restaurant and make sure this gets better as we move forward
