Hard to find-Nice to stay at

Posted 14-May-2017
Pros: Compared to many rooms in Great Britain the rooms were large and the bathroom was modern.
Cons: Electrical outlets nearer to the head of the bead for medical breathing equipment.
Location: Hard for foreignors to fine, but a great location for access to Dover, Hastings, rest of coast and Canterbury.
We really enjoyed staying there after we found it. The staff was excellent and very helpful to us. Breakfast was excellent. The parking provided easy access to the front door. I needed an extension cord for my CPAC breathing machine and they readily found one.

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback following your recent stay. I am pleased you found the team were able to assist you with the extension lead and that you were very well looked after during your time here. We are currently refurbishing all of the bedrooms in an ongoing program and once completed there will be ample sockets all around the rooms along with UK/European plug sockets. Once again, thank you for your lovely feedback and kind scores, these are very much appreciated Kindest regards Neil

Driving the UK

Posted 11-May-2017
Pros: Very good setting.
Cons: Check their bed sizes, Restaurant service.
Location: Location was fine but it mentioned Dover but was really about 4 miles out of Dover
We booked and paid for a "King" bed, all confirmations read a king bed but when we arrived we were given a queen bed, we approached the reception about this and was told very clearly it was a king bed and all the rooms on that side of the motel had king beds. We always book king beds where ever possible and stayed in London and Bath and both had king beds, we know what a king bed is, however rather than fuss we let it go. We decided to have dinner at the motel but first went for drinks at their bar, Peter the barman was excellent, very helpful but then when we moved to the restaurant disappointment set in again, the food was fantastic but the service very poor, we wanted another drink and desert but decided to give up and go back to the bar and had a packet of chips and a drink.

Dear Guest Thank you for your review and the constructive feedback enclosed. This is very much appreciated as this enables us to improve in the areas that we let you down, which I am sincerely sorry for. I will pass your complements onto Peter and the Kitchen for the good service and meals you encountered, however, I will investigate the lack of service your had in the restaurant and make sure this gets better as we move forward Once again, thank you for your feedback, it is very much appreciated Kind regards Neil

No spare bed for our 8 year old!

Posted 24-Apr-2017
As the beds were not big enough for two slim and small adults I shared bed with my 8 year old daughter and didn't sleep at all. Next day we were given proper size beds and sofa bed for child . Very dusty behind beds my partner is allergic to dust and had bad sneezes and eye reacted to it. Staf very helpful . Don't go there.

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback, it has been most helpful-I am sorry for any confusion that occurred with regards to the beds-this is something I will investigate with your booking agent if an additional bed was requested as all requests for extra beds are honoured wherever possible. I will also discuss your findings relating to the dust with the housekeeping team in order to prevent this from happening again. we very much welcome your feedback as this enables us to continually strive to make every guests stay the best it can be Kindest regards Neil

Not far from Dover Port.

Posted 28-Mar-2017
Pros: The location and the warmth when we entered inside.
Cons: Definitely the prices for eating at the restaurant as I wanted to try the madras curry and rice but at £ 14.99 a bit expensive!!!
Location: We only stayed overnight so did not get a chance to explore Dover except using the Port to catch a ferry to Calais.
We had travelled to Calais from Dover and arrived late at night so wanted to relax for an overnight stay. Very comfortable and staff helpful. Also chilled out in the bar at night for a drink. Room/Bathroom was clean and my family had a very good sleep. Definitely would stay at this hotel again when in Dover. Also Tea/Coffee/Hair Dryer was available at no extra cost.

Very convenient for ferries!

Posted 28-Mar-2017
Pros: Excellent location, easy to find, plenty of parking.
Cons: Availability of fruit tea for those who don't drink tea or coffee. I asked at Reception as there wasn't any in our room but was told there wasn't any.
Location: Lots of historic places to visit including castles. Beaches are just a short drive away.
We stayed overnight at the Dover Ramada Hotel before taking a cross channel ferry. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We'd definitely stay there again.
