"Countryside Retreat"
A lovely night spent in a lovely hotel. Its a barn so you can expect oldy worldy features. No air con and a few unexpected visitors in the corners of rooms but a lovely place to stay. The hot tub as part of the Canterbury Suite was a lovely addition on a very warm evening.

"Good place to stop over for events."
I stayed here because it's where the rest of the wedding party were staying, and it was easy to get to and close to the venue for the big event. There were at least 2 other wedding groups staying as well. Good welcome to the hotel, easy check-in, although I had to return to reception as my key card didn't appear to work - probably user error but could have been overcome by instructions on the key card. Room was simple, clean and functional. Bar was useful, but as one would expect - the prices were hotel prices. With a co-op store across the road, many people seemed to buy outside and cut costs! Breakfast was adequate. The hotel was full and the staff struggled to keep the food topped up, Disappointing that the 'cooked items' included only scrambled eggs, beans and sausages. Bacon not available! For the price we paid, we could have expected more for our money

"Clean and comfortable"
A few minutes drive from channel tunnel which is great for an early start. Spacious comfortable and clean 'no frills' room and a decent breakfast. Lots of parking spaces and a 5 min drive or 30 min walk down to the beach from the hotel.

"Comfortable and well equipped"
Had a very comfortable stay in a well equipped and spacious room. It felt more luxurious and less clinical than the town's Holiday Inns, which I normally use; the staff were friendly and it was nice to have a real room key! On a hot day with the windows open some people might be bothered by traffic noise from the nearby A28 but it didn't bother me. Sadly I had to leave early so wasn't able to try the breakfast included in the price.

"Lovely hotel for a romantic weekend"
Stayed here while visiting Whitstable and Margate. Was easy to access and parking was available. Room was lovely and big and very clean. Food in the restaurant was good but I feel a little over priced but with a good selection of wine.

"Friendly and comfortable, peaceful location."
Very comfy rooms, good food and friendly staff. The pub was very busy as it was a sunny Friday night but we were able to dine in the spacious garden and it was not a problem for the staff. Room cozy and clean, choice of herbal teas and hot chocolate as well as the usual offerings.

"It was a good standard hotel"
We had a problem when checking in. We had booked for a twin room but on arrival it had been made up as a double. We had to wait the for the room to be changed. We waited about 15 minutes but then had to go to visit our daughter. The receptionist said that she would ensure our case and bag would be put into our room when it was ready. When we got back, this had not been done. I had to go back to reception and say that it hadn't been done. It was then rectified.

Pocket Guide: Pet Friendly Hotels in Kent

As all pet owners are naturally loathe to leave their four-legged family member at home when they go off to enjoy a holiday, many hotels across the United Kingdom allow them to bring their dog or cat along with them. They've spotted a market opportunity and are happy to provide families with the means for not only looking after their pet whilst taking a break, but also to enjoy the holiday together. Kent has a well-deserved reputation as being a great destination for an outdoor holiday, with miles of beautiful coastline and a very varied landscape that a canine as well as a human visitor will love. Stay at a pet-friendly hotel in Kent and you'll all have a fabulous time.

    Pet-Friendly Hotels in Kent

Pet friendly hotels throughout Kent will ensure that your beloved pet as well as your family enjoys a great break in one of the most beautiful and invigorating regions of England. They have extra pet-oriented facilities on hand such as treats and blankets, and as they specialise in catering for dogs in most cases these hotels will be able to put you in touch with local vets and other providers. They'll have information on the best places to go for exercise and which local parks and beaches allow dogs. Pet-friendly hotels in Kent offer not only great accommodation for your pet but are also a one-stop-shop for invaluable local information concerning the area.

Out and About from Your Pet-Friendly Hotels

We humans expect certain standards in accommodation services and facilities in order to enjoy a decent break, and the same is true of our pets. Cats are probably easier to satisfy in this respect, but a dog can be a handful at the best of times. If you feel like relaxing and the dog wants to hit the countryside, a dog-walking service can prove invaluable, and the staff at pet-friendly hotels in Kent will be trained in all matters relating to animal care. At hotels such as Elvey Farm in Ashford and The George Hotel in Cranbrook, which are pet-friendly, you'll have everything provided for a great break.
