The staff were really kind, helpful and approachable, especially Louise and Tye in the leasure facility; nothing was too much trouble and when they had to close the pool down they were so appologetic and kept us fully informed about what was happening.
However, when we went to the bar in the evening I had finished my drink before my son had actually recieved his due to the service being extremely slow; even though the bar was virtually empty.
The winsow seal in our room had perished and there were strong wind during the night; the noise of the wind blowing through the gap was horrendous and woke me up numerous times as well as it making the riom rather cold.

Stayed over the Christmas period whilst visiting family.
Excellent base, so much to do and excellent amenities onsite as well as location wise (Lakeside, Bluewater etc)
Staff made a massive effort over Christmas with the kids, it was really touching to see.

Not a very nice hotel, couldnt check in until 2 hours after checking time i had 5 rooms booked, rooms not
Ready, beds uncomftable, lobby smelt of canabis, and in general the hotel was dirty. Wouldnt recommnend

First time staying here, we thought it was great. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Would recommend. Only problem is the parking, we arrived on race day and the car park was full. They need to paint lines so cars park properly.

The hotel is nice and the room is actually very clean the bedsheets are perfect.I didn’t use the Spa services, but another client in the hotel I had the chance to speak with about Spa services, says that is amazing.
The only thing I would recommend is to make sure that the free parking advertised is going to be free indeed. I just been fined for parking by Parkingeye Ltd. The staff who did the check in, said it is going to be ok, no need to display a parking customer ticket.

Restaurant open, front desk it was fully booked even though it was virtually empty 1 hour before closing time.
Reception only had snarky sarcastic remarks to offer when asked about options.
Wasted our evenings because of the slow service in the restaurant. Had to report rooms not being serviced on three occasions. No natural daylight in our rooms and very poor lighting. Lots of cobwebs in rooms and bathrooms. Poor management in general.
Generally the maintenance of the buildings could do with more attention. Guests leaving used bottles and plates outside their rooms also could be addressed. The pool was very good . Staff could be a little polite.

Group of friends staying overnight, met in the bar upon arrival.
only 1 beer on draught, limited choice in bottle beers, which were all warm.
rooms were clean however ROASTING HOT, and beds had heavy weight duvets on.
yes kicked them off but rooms stiffling.

Room dirty as if someone was in the room before us. Someone had left our room window open before we arrived meaning the room was filled with bugs. Hotel corridors stunk of cannabis. Noise from other guests was horrific, screaming and banging doors all night, total failure from staff to control guests. When asked staff to sort it out they fobbed us off. Woke up in the morning to no water and no power meaning couldn’t wash even charge our phones. Hotel is a total disgrace. Complained to the management and they shrugged as if it wasn’t their problem. Would avoid this place at all costs.

Usually a great place to stay. However on arrival found a 10 inch rambo knife in our room. Staff were great and took it awayband comped the room and offered an upgraded room howver it was actually a smaller room and not what we had booked so opted to go back to the knife room. Only to then discover the fite alarm for the hotel was fault and had been going off every ciuple of hours and having been evacuated several times throughout the night 1am 2.20am 3am. We were completley exhausted by the morning. Felt sorry for the staff with the the duty manager informing us hes first ever shift was friday and by Saturday they had made him duty manager left him to deal with the fire alarm issue that had been going on for 3 days.
Booked here for 2 nights for the Ferrari Challenge event - both nights saw fire alarms going off through the night 5 times from midnight until 0330 am - couldn't sleep - the alarm system in this hotel is out of date - stay somewhere else especially if you're a driver like me who needed sleep -
Unfortunately the air con was broken on one of the hottest days- they did supply a fan but had expected an apology at the least on checkout that their engineer never arrived.
The sheet was also too short for the bed & mattress was heavily stained

No A/C so definitely warm. Food in restaurant sub-par….boiled chicken on salad tasteless. No elevator so carrying heavy bags upstairs is problematic. We were moved 3 times because 1) Expedia did not relay our request for 2 beds & hotel didn’t have online option to choose 2) Couldn’t get suitcases & golf bags up the stairs.
great location, great service....only negative is no elevators on the property...Pool and Spa are great though a little less than online pictures show. A great place to stay for multiple days and near Lakeside and Bluewater
