Pros: friendly helpful staff, that actually seem to want to work here
Cons: Update bathroom, sound insulation and/or quieter closing doors Clean scum from pool. someone tell the people just sitting in hot tub with it off !

Seemed fairly cheap for a Hilton. Reviews seemed to indicate it was in a poor state and needed upgrading. Hotel public areas are nice, tidy, clean. looked after. Room 155 is a very good size, has all you would expect, maybe a bit more to be honest. Bathroom is adequate, showing signs of being a bit old and tired, but not drastic. Staff seem pleased to be here which is always good and very helpful Only complaint would be the amount of noise and door slamming from so young ladies that were obviously drunk and didn't care about anyone else.

The breakfast was a little tired once we got to it at 8.30. Otherwise everything was great. The evening meal was delicious. All staff were extremely helpful.

Nettes Hotel mit schönem, wenn auch altem Ambiente

Wir waren ein langes Wochenende mit zwei größeren Kids vor Ort.Das Hotel liegt günstig angebunden. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Familienzimmer ist sehr geräumig und verfügt sogar über eine kleine Couch und einen Schreibtisch.Die Möbel sind teilweise in die Jahre gekommen aber alles war sauber und gepflegt.

I didn't enjoy my stay and I just wanted the next day to come to leave. The hall and bar area of the hotel looked OK on our arrival, our room was a really good size with 2 double beds and plenty of space. However, in the bathroom it seemed the cleaner left some stuff behind used to clean (which it made me think that room wasn't checked by any manager afterwards) and the ceiling was covered in mould. Curtains in the window were stained of what it looked blood and also plenty of mould around the window. The hotel needs an update and a deep clean. Room was good price but I thought Hilton would have higher standards.

Staff friendly, cleanliness bad!

The hotel itself was a little old fashioned and it was a shame that there was no air conditioning in the room but otherwise it was fine. The swimming pool/sauna were lovely and clean and all of the staff were very friendly. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bedroom, on arrival I noticed that there was a pair of jeans in the wardrobe from the last guest but didn't think a great deal of it. It wasn't until after our first night that when we retuned to the room I noticed that it hadn't been cleaned very well (the bed sheets hadn't been changed and there were boys still around such as cotton buds on the floor in the bathroom). The following morning when we were checking out I looked under the bed to check that we had not left anything and underwear from the previous guests and food wrappers. With the lack of air on, stuffy room and poor cleaning I did feel like I was staying at a premier inn or something rather than a Hilton!

Spoilt by noise.

Unfortunately the stay was spoilt by a very noisy room. The room did not have air conditioning but was affected by the noise of air conditioning units, which was worse if the window was opened. So the room was hot, but did have an upright fan, but was very noisy to the point where my partner was unable to sleep.
