The hotel is fine, if you avoid the staff
This was the first time I'd stayed at this particular Hilton, and unfortunately I won't be returning due to the reception staff we dealt with. We'd selected and paid for a room with 2 queen beds (our child was staying in the same room) but on check-in were informed that our sofa bed was made up ready. We queried this to be met with a condescending attitude and the response that none of those rooms were available. It took me digging out the confirmation email to prove what we'd booked before anything would be done, and then we were allocated the correct room type. No apology was given for either the mistake or the way we'd been treated. To be honest, had she apologised at the time and said there had been a mix up, we'd have lived with the sofa bed. We were checked out by the same person so can confirm that the unpleasant attitude was consistent. Other staff were fine, I must add! The beds were very squeaky and end of life, so I'd only recommend this hotel if your priority is breakfast, as there was a vast selection to choose from.

I appreciate you for taking the time to complete a review about your recent visit here at the Hilton Dartford Bridge.
I am disappointed to read that you left the hotel dissatisfied with your stay. As a hotel we do wish for you to enjoy each and every stay and we are sorry that we did not do this at this time.
In relation to the comments on the member of staff we would like to look into this further if you could provide this information.
We do hope that you return in the future,
Darren Walsh, Hotel Manager at Hilton Dartford Bridge
