It's not what you expect for a Hilton..

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: The bedrooms were well decorated and clean
Cons: The bathrooms need an update, the parking charge is unessecary, the room service was cold when it arrived and the Living Well Health club is very poor
Location: Bluewater and Lakeside are nearby however there is nothing to in walking distance. Hotel facilities are the only thing near, these are also poor.
After already paying a fair amount for a room I was shocked to find out that I then had to pay a further £4 to park my car, unfortunately our double room only had one towel and no dressing gowns or slippers as you would expect for this hotel. I was most disappointed with the pool/gym and spa services. The pool was far too busy and you could hardly move let alone swim. I had booked to have a facial on the Sunday as I was staying Saturday night, after a lot of effort to change my booking prior to staying at the hotel (of which they had booked on the wrong date anyway) I walked down ready to receive my facial to be told that I was not booked in and there was not even a beautician there. Further to this the employee at the Living Well health club did not even have the beauticians number to ring to work out what had gone wrong and why I was not able to receive the treatment I had booked. Massive disapoinment.

Nice rooms

Posted 28-Jul-2015
I had a really good experience Except for some days the room not being cleaned properly. Only putting fresh towels in. Not making my bed. Not cleaning my glasses from the night before. I had to notify staff to come clean room at least 5 out of the 8 days I stayed there No mini fridge No safe for personal goods

We were a bit disappointed with our one night stay because the air conditioner in our room wasn't working and it was very warm during the night, which made it difficult to sleep. We were told there was not another family room we could move to and that because the rooms were not advertised with air conditioning (it's just an extra), they couldn't discount the room. Maybe we were just unlucky as the hotel itself seems very nice.

Weekend in London

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: Clean, good restaurant area and variety of food available. Room size fantastic, perfect for a family of four.
Cons: A few areas were looking a little tired, but not anything that hindered our stay.
Location: We spent two days in central London. Rail fares were cheap with my family rail card. Parking at Dartford station very cheap £4 Sat all day £1 Sunday.
Perfect for a weekend stay. Easy access to rail travel into London. Booked on a special offer which made the whole weekend good value. Parking fee very reasonable. Staff very helpful and room clean and lovely size. The complimentary bottle of wine made all the difference! Would definitely stay again.

Do not book if you want a relaxing Spa break

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Leisure club was in poor condition, with a foul odour and children chasing each other in circles in the jacuzzi. Room was too hot, beds uncomfortable and overall a poor experience from a trusted brand.

Dear Alex, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review about your recent visit here at the Hilton Dartford Bridge. I am disappointed to read that although we have discussed this with you directly that we have still not met your expectations. As I have explained we are not a spa hotel we offer leisure facilities, we have only two months ago had a full refurbishment in our Livingwell and have had many great comments. It was a nice hotel but the staff were a little slow at noticing us and the shower was difficult to figure out

The first room was not very nice with a stain on the carpet and a hole by the toilet. However they did change the room when I requested.

Stay with kids

Posted 27-May-2015 on Hotels
What I liked- Overall a nice experience! The swimming pool is bit small but serves the purpose. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Breakfast was good. What I didn't like - The service wasn't good at all . there is no mini bar in the room. On arrival, they don't bother to put a water bottle or cookies which you can find in normal hotel. When asked for water bottle, they have said the price would be £10 where £5 for room service and about £5 for a litre of water bottle. The bed wasn't very comfortable.
