Pros: Position was perfect
Cons: Refurbish the hotel top to bottom
This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Refurbishment has started but decoration was going on around the guests during my stay with no segregation of workspace. Crossing the lobby meant dodging decorators with wet paint brushes. To enter the restrooms in the lobby, you had to literally duck under a decorator's ladder. Hotel bedroom felt like going back to the 60's and early 70's. Check-in took an age because there was only one lady having to manage check in for a long queue. Staff were trying to do a good job but under trying circumstances.

Generally poor standard

Refurbishing going on no bar area to sit. No room in reception even to sit and enjoy a drink. Had to go to room instead. Dated room and although clean was not at a level expected for a Hilton.

Not Hiltons normal standard

Posted 04-Sep-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff, reconsider project plan, should have trip hazards
Location: Close to Dartford crossing
Hotel tired, renovations while open meant trip hazards everywhere. Staff in restaurant more interested in text on phone rather than serving (food and beverage manager), food served was mediocre at best.

Disappointing Actually... money not well spent

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: Breakfast was good, selection was broad, bread were fresh and staff were attentive and quick.
Cons: Check in experience could be improved. Rooms need updating. its 2016 come on.
Location: nothing nearby,
first let down was check in, i never got the rooms i paid for (2 double queen beds). instead gave 2 adjoining double rooms and another double room with a temporary Z bed. I thought it'd be okay, until we found one of the adjoining rooms was NOT MADE AT ALL. to our horror it was lived in with towels and used mugs everywhere. This was replaced with another double room quite promptly with little sympathy. In the end we were all split apart from each other which was not intended. the floor I stayed on had a strong fresh paint smell. clearly all the wall signs were removed and walls repainted. The room looked very out dated, TV was pretty old. Although we couldnt use it because the remote batteries were dead! bedding and cleanliness was fine, shower head leaked... overall not an impressive performance. All in all, I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth feeling a bit cheated I didnt get the rooms i paid for. Hilton is such a let down here. Theyre much better up north in manchester. This place feels abandoned from development.

2 nights at the Dartford Hilton

Posted 20-Aug-2016
Pros: Close to Blue Water Shopping Centre, also close to the south coast for day trips.
Cons: No fee for parking if staying at the Hotel 4 Pounds a day.
Location: Close to all south coast venues.
Booked for two nights through Expedia. Quick booking in, rooms very large, clean. Would stay again.

Nice hotel but I've stayed at other Hiton Hotels which were by far better so a little disappointed as my expectations were a lot higher

Great for families!!

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: The staff were friendly, the room was more than adequate, the food was great and the facilities were superb.
Cons: Free Wifi throughout the hotel and a simple way to turn off the subtitles on the TV.
Location: The location was nice enough and with the Bluewater shopping centre less than 5 minutes away there is plenty to do in the area.
The room was huge, the value and standard of the meals were exceptional and our daughter ate for free!! An absolutely great touch by Hilton!! My only gripe is that the Wifi is chargeable in the room. A lot of other hotels offer this free and I think it should be the case in all hotels these days.
