Sehr gutes Bed & Breakfast in Nähe zum Fährhafen

Posted 04-Jul-2016

Four of us stayed for a football trip - 10 min walk to the ground. Host was very helpful and courteous and we will definitely chose this hotel again. Superb breakfast and nice choices superbly cooked.

A welcome stop-over the night before a long drive

Posted 27-Apr-2016 on Hotels
A stopover before embarkation onto ferry back to France. I awoke totally refreshed after a great sleep followed by a long soak under the huge walk-in shower (shame it was just me really) Breakfast was a hearty feast that kept me going all day. I will certainly use this place again the next time I use the Dover ferryport

Good location

Posted 21-Mar-2016
Pros: Very welcoming with a pet
Cons: Nothing
A very welcoming proprietor one could not ask for a better place to stay, we have a large dog and that did not seem to phase him at all, If we needed to stay in Dover again I would not hesitate to book there, also to recommend it to any other person.

impromptu overnight stay

Posted 23-Feb-2016 on Hotels
This was an impromptu overnight stay to escape building work at home. I found Crabble house on-line and was attracted to it mainly for the price. We found it to be cosy and welcoming with a fantastic host, Gary, who cooks a mean breakfast. Unfortunately the weather was less welcoming so we did not get to visit the local sights properly but there are some great bars and restaurants in town, a drive/taxi ride away.
