A Lovely stay, room got a little stuffy but was able to leave window open as a very quiet setting st the front

Very comfortable, excellent value for money. Great stop over before catching early morning ferry. Has a good bar/bistro but also close to restaurants and bars. In the local town

It was a decent place to stay for the one night we did. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very good.

Great view and good hotel for a night

Stayed in a sea view room for a night. The rooms/hotel definitely could use a bit of a facelift. There's only one lift and it takes ages, especially around checkout time, so take that into consideration. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spacious, perfect for a one night stay. The staff go above and beyond and are very helpful.

Nice view

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice location. Good gym
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Near to port. Walking distance to castle and town. On sea front
parking is very easy. Reception was good and quick. My allocated room was right next to the lift so I immediately went down to complain. I was immediately upgraded to a nice room with sea view at no extra charge. The gym was excellent as was the sauna. Unfortunately breakfast was disappointing. Don't get me wrong the staff were lovely as were the freshly cooked poached eggs. However as often with buffet breakfast the food was cold

Disappointing

Toilet was broken TV remote missing Room too hot with no temperature control Spare bed impossible to sleep on because the springs stuck out There was more but we’ve put it behind us now.

The toilet flush was not working in the bathroom, we allowed one hour for it to be fixed while we went to the spa, however it was not fixed by the time we got back and after 10 minutes waiting in our wet swimwear they asked us to go to a single room with shower only (no bath) just to get changed and come back to our room. When we got back it was still not fixed but we could not change rooms as apparently the hotel was fully booked. The only thing they could offer us as a compensation was complimentary breakfast and an upgrade in our next stay. Very disappointing given the rating of the hotel and the price we paid!

Easy walk from train station and on the waterfront

Only thing was, I booked twin beds for my child and me and they gave us a room with one bed. I didn’t bother to complain we had a room with an ocean view.
