Do not stay in this hotel!

Posted 26-Jul-2017
We booked this hotel for 13 nights to spend our holiday in july 2017. First the room is very tired, bathroom had very bad smell coming out of it and the A/C was not cooling the room. I called the hotel about those problems, but no one cared to help or fix these issues. So my conclusion is that, there is no A/C in the rooms it is only a fan the push normal air not a cooled one. The bathrooms are too old and need replacement and that is why the bad smell was coming out of it. The rooms are extremely tired and feels like a war took place inside them. One more thing, my wife brought her blanket with her, housekeeping took it by mistake and they never returned it. Called them so many times with no luck. We had to buy a new one. I highly recommend you not to stay in this hotel. It is the worst hotel I stayed in my whole life! It is a complete waste of money and time. This hotel at best should be 3 to 2.5 stars.

Older hotel but in the great location.. close to the train, shops and many of London attractions. Service at the hotel front desk could be improved.

Pros: Location
Cons: Update the rooms
Location: Hyde Park, Kensington Palace
The location right across the street from the Gloucester Road Tube stop was great. There's also a small Tesco right across the street, which we found helpful for stocking the room with drinks and snacks. It's a nice short walk from Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, etc. We stayed for 4 nights in early July and found the air conditioning to be working fine (I see that others have mentioned the AC not working well--we didn't find that to be true). I agree with other reviewers that the rooms are a bit dated, but we don't have any serious complaints.

Great location on Piccadilly tube line

Posted 17-Jul-2017
Pros: Location and Georgy the concierge who was extremely helpful
Cons: Hotel management and attitude to long-term customers
Location: Direct tube line from Heathrow airport, station is around the corner, lots of eateries & pubs around
Stayed at Millennium Hotel many times, but will not go again. Though I'm Millennium Club Member, my room was not ready by the time of check-in, also was not ready by 4 pm. I couldn't have shower and have some rest after early morning flight till 8 pm when I came to the hotel after my meetings. No apologizes were made - only after addressing to manager he has offered me a glass of juice. The room I've got was on the Club floor, but definitely not 32 sq.m as has been announced on the web-site, but not more than 15 sq.m. Even with the bathroom it was not more than 20 sq.m - why do they cheat customers? Tea and coffee supply were replenished only once during my 4-nights stay. There was a problem in the bathroom that has been fixed only after my third complain to reception! And after all when I've asked if I can check out at 3 pm instead of hotel normal check-out hour at noon (as a compensation for the problem with check-in) I was said I can do that only for additional payment. Not recommend - one can find better variants in London for the money I've paid. Only location is a big plus - but that's not the result of hotel management.

Nice hotel. Close to Underground

Posted 13-Jul-2017
Pros: Clean rooms. Good size rooms, especially for a European hotel.
Cons: Beds were a little uncomfortable.
Location: Underground station right at the corner. Short walk to several museums. Lots of restaurants and pubs. Safe neighborhood.
Great hotel with a great location!! I would definitely recommend! Rooms were clean. Beds a little uncomfortable, but typical of most European hotels. Room size was quite nice. Great wifi. Location of the hotel was fabulous! Exceptionally close to an Underground station. A good variety of restaurants and pubs to choose from in a lovely, safe neighborhood. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful (I would not recommend the concierge service. One gentlemen in particular led us astray more than once). Overall, a great experience!

Not all about Up sell

Posted 13-Jul-2017
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: Brighten up the place and have some of the staff smile occasionally.
Location: Location was great. Easier to the tube and close to all the great London attractions.
The staff seemed more interested in up selling you rather than making it a great experience. It was fully booked and perhaps that was the reason for the lack of attention. Some of the staff were very good however. Also the hotel is tired and in need of an update.

Good location. Comfortable and tidy. Good Services

Posted 11-Jul-2017
Pros: Overall conditions
Cons: A bit noisy on the side street
Location: South Kensington areas
Enjoy my stay. There are plenty of amenities closed by like restaurants, grocery store, tube stations and within walking distance to Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Parks and a few famous museams near by.

Good hotel beside underground station

Posted 11-Jul-2017
Pros: Room spotless and comfortable.
Cons: Bar not welcoming. Staff surly, had to even ask if they were open. Food awful in bar and still charged me even after I complained and didn't eat it.
Location: Easy walk to Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Mudeum. Underground takes you straight to Heathrow and all across city.
Food okay except in bar. Good change selections available for breakfast even in the club lounge. Same
