"The room was cleaned every day, in fact the hold complex was spotless. Both Stelios and Anastasia were very approachable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. There were 3 restaurants nearby in Karavomylos but plenty in Sami. There is a mini-market on the square for essentials but best go into...
"The apartments were spotless, the hospitality was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble, we went in a large group and this was not a problem. Despina sorted out the transfers, lovely air conditioned mini bus. The location is great."
"excellent property very clean comfortable good food beautiful restaurant but costumer service by the waiters and bartenders is very bad they are not attentive"
"Mounda Beach hotel is a real gem! Wonderful Greek hospitality, stunning location and superb food. Even in the new ‘Covid’ world the levels of attention were excellent without compromising clients health and safety. Alex was brilliant, thoughtful and attentive with ourselves and our children and happy to recommend things to do and see. He was clearly proud of the Family run hotel and the experience clients receive. The family room was very spacious and tastefully decorated.
It’s a perfect place...
"Fantastic stay at Ionian Greka Suites! Afroditi is so welcoming and a brilliant host. The room was clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning. Agia Efimia is beautiful and one of the best places to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning! "
"Hotel was excellent all around, nice pool with view of ocean, room and balcony great view , clean and neat, housekeeping came in every day, owners were very friendly and helpful….. provided maps and insights into sights to visit……
Quiet and location to port, center , and some great beaches were close……
I will return…… never had a chance to sample restaurant( hotel was closing for season)………
I recommend without reservation…. "
"A wonderfully relaxing spot to spend a holiday! We stayed at the end of the season, and it was relaxed and quiet, exactly what we wanted. The beach is mere steps away and it wasn't crowded, there's a pool and sunny terrace for lounging, and a shaded bar/restaurant to chill in.
Staff were all wonderful and attentive, food was brilliant and we'd definitely come back!
I think next time we might hire a car, as there's probably plenty nearby to explore that was slightly too far away (and hilly) to...
"This hotel is in a great location. We are a couple in our 60s and it was an easy walk into the main town square passing many nice restaurants and bars en route. There is a supermarket across the road for convenience and a fridge in the room. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, we both slept well with air con. The door onto the balcony had a mosquito screen which meant neither of us got bitten at all. The balcony had a spectacular view . The ferry into Argostoli ran every half hour and...

"The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available.
The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel.
It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed redecorated recently. Our room was small but clean and tidy, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The bathroom toilet and basin looked new, but the bath/shower needed an updated – but worked perfectly okay.
The staff were brilliant – really helpful and friendly – we had no issues at all throughout our stay.
The pool area was great, lots of sunbeds (which looked new) and a bar for drinks etc.
We ate out each evening in local restaurants (great value and lovely food), but ate breakfast at the hotel – breakfast was fairly limited in choice and basic, but it was okay.
We would definitely stay at the hotel again – not least because of the location opposite the wonderful Makris Gialos beach.

"Lovely location, close to airport , food excellent, staff very helpful and late checkout available
There are planes flying close overhead- they dont come over early or late /about 5 per day
Yes the hotel wants updating - however, it is authentic and any issues are swiftly rectified - we didnt have any issues.
A mosquito detereant is available to use in each room.
Phone
Garden or sea views
The pool is warm, there is no diving or jumping as no lifeguards present.
There is a children's pool - children under 12 need to be supervised.
If you are looking for a relaxing, nice time and as the day goes buy, with poolside bar and food this is the place for you.
There is aircon in the rooms, phones and roomservice is daily.
There is also a TV and fridge - no kettle provided (we didn't need one)
Greek law states you must pay a local room tax oer night 1.3 euros
The bus service timetable is in reception- the times are when it leaves its starting point, not when it gets to you.
If you look out towards the sea, if you see the bus come round the road near there - you habe 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop out of the driveway turn right and its on the left to go to Argostoĺion or airport.
Argostoĺion: 2 euros each
Airport 1 euro each
Armmes beach 700 yards - 15 minute walk (as receptionist for directions/ take note of where you are walking as buses and cars do go there too and all roads look similar)
At beach when having a shower wear non slip shoes! Bar, food very good "
"Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of sunny spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fairly rural and there is no centre to walk around in the evenings - just pitch black lanes, but there are restaurants nearby so plenty of places to eat. The nearby beach at Ai Helis is beautiful and only a 15 minute walk. Would recommend a car if staying for more than a couple of days. "
