"We chose this location as a central spot to explore the southeastern portion of the Big Island and it did not disappoint! We had PLENTY of room for our group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids. Amanda was a welcoming and amazing host - welcomed us upon arrival (even though it was a late night arrival after a full day of flights). The house was immaculate and well stocked. "The house was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed staying here. It could use a little more amenities like patio furniture so you could enjoy sitting ouside. It has a great screened in patio but was unable to enjoy it. Overall, this was a great place to stay. I would sray here again."

"We saw this on VRBO when we got there it was as advertised very nice and relaxing Jonas was great to deal with. We ran around durning the day and hung around in the evening enjoying the patio and sounds of the frogs . If Jonas offers to take you on a tour don’t pass it up its wonderful and you see Hawaii like no other."

"Probably one of the coolest and most unique rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Great value, spacious, and the center courtyard was so lovely to see every morning. I also loved the location — not too far of a drive to Hilo or the beaches / lava fields in Kalapana. Would def recommend!"

"This was a fantastic house! The view was spectacular and location was perfect. It was centrally located for Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea, Akaka Falls, and other tourist attractions on this side of the island. The house was spotless and the owner thought of everything. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels, sheets for the pull out bed, even the light switches were labeled. Highly recommend this property! Spectacular!"
