This is a fantastic location to stay . We were oceanfront and greeted by the sound of waves crashing against the shore daily . There was no air conditioning however the ocean breeze cooled the unit adequately . Although the beachfront is not swimmable, an area of Lydgate Beach with life guard supervision is only a few minutes away by vehicle .

I was late for my 3pm check in, but they had it arranged with the security to get me where I needed to go and took care of the rest of the paperwork the next day as the office was closed by the time I got there. The security gave great suggestions of where to eat and where to go while I'm visiting the island. great service and great service

We had 2 days with no WiFi because the service provider had an issue the property management said. We liked the location, space to move around and make meals and listening to the ocean was nice! The inside condo was a little dated and run down. The blinds didn't work, so minimal privacy. The roosters woke us up every morning at 5am which was charming, but takes getting used to.

Our condo had cockroaches and was not very clean. I found used Kleenexes in our bedroom. I put out traps for roaches and found about 8 dead ones the next day and they decreased after that. But, it was disgusting and I’ve had to wash and scrub everything we took there. They only had one key and wouldn’t get us a second one. View was awesome, grounds were awesome.

Property is very centrally located on the island-close to shops, etc (need a car) and within walking distance to a great beach and park. The property is very clean and well-maintained. This particular unit was on the ground floor and the annoying thing was roosters and chickens freely walk up to the porch (there are many in the property) and they are very loud early in the morning.

We visited Kaha lani the week of Dec 1st. This is a condo resort 2bed/2bath ocean view. The condo itself is a little dated but it has everything you need for your stay. There are pots and pans, iron, hair dryer, bowls and coffee maker. These units are individually owned so these amenities vary depending on who the owner is. The location is right on the beach and you can see the ocean from your patio lanai. There is no a/c in these homes however the ocean breeze creates cool air coming straight thru the window. Not sure about the summer months. There is plenty of parking. Laundry is on site at the office clubhouse. I would advise bringing ear plugs or noise canceling head sets as the roosters crow at 3-4 am. The condo was clean and spacious and it was enough for our group of 5. There is cable tv and wifi. The area grounds are very well kept with nice landscaping. The pool was clean and a decent temperature but it didn’t feel heated. There are BBQ gas grills on the property. The staff and security are welcoming and friendly. We were allowed a late check out due to a late departure. I would say our stay was pleasant and welcoming. We really only used the condo to shower and sleep. We were out everyday venturing and exploring the island. I would definitely stay here again as it was a budget friendly ocean front property.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Location was 10/10. Although we had one of the only units with laundry (122!), the master bedroom door did not shut, and a handful of lights didn’t work. The view and convenience trumped all.

This property is a hidden gem. The location and ocean views are absolutely amazing. The unit we had was clean and large with a two patios and full ocean views. Very well managed with easy check in and out. A quiet tucked away spot.

The property was beautiful and close to the ocean. The only issues we had was the lack of air conditioning and thetr was quite a few tents near by, and being on the grou d floor it felt a little unsafe. The staff was very nice and kind and did a greta job to support our needs.

Pros: private condo, spacious, all ammenities included, comfortable bed, easy beach access. Cons: older, dated building(smelly); unit was stated 'ocean view' but was not. NO air conditioning with inadequate fans. Office staff not very friendly nor accessible after 4pm. Would not stay there again.

Location is perfect to access all of Kauai. View of ocean spectacular. Each unit is different. Units are in either 3 or 2 floor buildings. Ground floor sometimes has walk down access.

Your home in paradise
Stayed in the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom accommodation, with a million dollar view of the Pacific ocean, only a few feet away. Accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the inclusion of beach chairs, and other beach related items was great. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect, right on Lydgate beach, and within a half hour of most anything on the north - south sides of Kauai, and an hour or so from the west side, and only 10 minutes from the airport. Great value, and would highly recommend and stay here again.

A very good choice for our family holiday in Kauai. While the font desk hours are not comfortable, the staff arranged the key pick up since we were arriving late. The unit itself was perfect--amazing view, great kitchen, and amazingly located. We will stay at Kaha Lani again!

Waking up and seeing the ocean every morning was perfection. We had everything we needed to make this a lovely vacation. I did expect there to be bedding for our third person given we booked for three. We arrived after hours so couldn’t get anything extra on site. A quick trip to Walmart rectified things and the couch was comfy enough for our daughter. (Not a fold out). The location is a quick drive to supermarkets and food trucks. It is a good central location to get to anywhere in the island. We loved that it was quiet.

This was our second stay at the property. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here to everybody. Definitely recommend getting a ocean view condo. The view is amazing.

This is a tough one: i know we were to be in a 3rd floor suite, probably a very nice one. Upon arrival, i discovered no elevator and was kindly moved to a ground floor suite by the Manager. This was my oversight by not verifying ahead of time. Here is the problem: the 1st floor is built into a slight hill causing an smell of mildew and I'm sure mold behind the walls. The suite had some work done, paint, doors, counters but in terrible need of better seating, mattress and bathroom updates. Personally, the amt of clutter was off putting for us. The location is beautiful and funny to see the chickens running around,! Walking paths, pool, very enjoyable and the grounds were immaculate. The unit was fairly clean and maintenance staff responded immediately to a problem we had with garberator. My poor rating reflects on the unit not the staff. The rental of this unit shoud be re-evaluated.

The place we stayed was not cleaned as per our expectations. In addition, the furniture, carpet, bedding, kitchen and bathrooms need an upgrade (they are worn down). Ocean views and surrounding area was a plus.

The best part of this resort is the location. It is close to airport, close to Safeway, close to ABC store and some shopping plazas. You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes, and it is a nice, clean and not crowded beach. you can watch sunrise there. it has full kitchen so you can just buy stuff from Safeway and cook your own meal. Just the units of this resort is individually owned. even it says newly renovated it might not applied to all unites or everything in the unit. the one we stayed in, there's no curtain/blind on the kitchen window, so whoever walk by can see the kitchen and dinning area. the blinds in bedroom are old, the cloths behind the blind is old too, and one window has a longer piece, the other one has a shorter one. We didn't realize the unit had a TV with broken screen and a broken leg on the day we arrived. we reported to the front office on the next morning, which was replaced on the day after. Rooster is the king of the island is not a joke. you will see quite a bit of chickens walking around the property. you better feed them if you sit outside to eat on the first floor, otherwise they will come for your food. If you don't mind hearing rooster's crow in the earning morning, then you can give this place a try.

Loved the experience. Close to the brach. Easy parking. Nice furnishings. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Good pool and BBQ. Check in was a nightmare, though. We couldn't get in. Flight was delayed and office closed when we arrived. No instructions as to how to find a key. Made some calls at around 1am and finally a sleepy voice told us there is a lockbox at the office and gave us the code. Wrong key inside! More phone calls. We were about to sleep on the lanai when a sleepy security guy came over with the right key. 3am. Only other problems were dishwasher. Didn't work. TV hopeless until staff changed batteries on one of the remotes. No proper instruction as to which remote might work. Wasn't a problem cos we weren't there to watch TV

Bad service, there was no front desk or service staff half of the time during normal business hours. Hard time with opening roll over bed and had to call security to help with it as front desk and staff was not present. Had to wait 2 days to get extra blanket. Worst Hawaii stay ever. Unit itself was good condition

The location was great. A five minute walk from the beach. Nearby shops and restaurants. The condo that we stayed was big but the furniture was old. The bedding was very old and warned out, the same with the rugs in the condo.
