After coming back to this resort, it was unfortunate to see that the quality of the resort went down. The choices of alcohol and gluten free options went downhill from the year prior. Most of the staff was great, however some of the staff need to be educated on celiac and gluten free and how they are the same condition. The beach was beautiful and the room was fantastic.

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to spend our honeymoon. The grounds were extremely well maintained and gorgeous,the staff were all so friendly, and the food was delicious. We are already planning to go back next year.

Good service from the bartenders and at the pool… food service at breakfast was awful….. you waited to be served and then you had to find someone to bring you coffee. Room was amazingly clean as were the grounds. Ala cart restaurant’s were also very good.

I did not like and would not recommend the mexican fiesta dinners on the beach. They were xtra money and pretty bad. Also we booked 2 queen beds and they never gave us that even after much discussion. They are not a family resort so that was not how their rooms were configured. The evening restaurants were good. The service was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The best buffet was the seaside market and the other buffets were soso. And the rooms were average kind of old and tired.

we really enjoyed our stay but it was very noisy. most of the time other clients but also sometimes the workers around the property very early in the morning. It was sometimes hard to enjoy our swim out because of other very loud and noisy guests without any respect when we just wanted to relax

The landscaping was beautiful. Did not like or appreciate all the golf carts/food carts. You could not walk anywhere street or sidewalk without dodging several carts. Poorly managed.

The food at the la carte restaurants was excellent. Staff and grounds were amazing. Quieter resort. Perfectly suited for couples. Palm trees and thick vegetation around rooms and some pools made them very shaded. Bali beds along the beach were free to use and very comfortable. Sea was shallow so swimming not ideal. Bring a floatie to enjoy it.

Likes: grounds were well taken care off. Lots of flowers, lush and green. Room was very clean. Beach was very nice. Rooms were a little worn down with scuffed paint and stairs to get to room were crumbling in spots. One pool was out of order, which was a bummer since there were only 2 other small pools at seaside palms. We did have access to seaside suites pool but it a far walk. Nightly entertainment was good. Dislikes: we had a member of our group with mobility issues. Everything is very spread out so lots of walking. Having to make reservations for sit down, ala cart restaurants was annoying and inconvenient. They have 2 restaurants with the same name and we went to the wrong one. The other restaurant was far away so getting our friend with mobility issues there took a bit. When we arrived the manager of the restaurant was upset and told us multiple times that we were late and that it would mess other guests reservations etc. the waiter even reprimanded us. I felt it very unprofessional and not our fault that we went to the wrong restaurant. Why have 2 restaurants with the same name? The food at the buffets was fine but staff struggled to keep items stocked and lines for food were long. Drink service on the beach took a long time. We started ordering multiple drinks at one time to avoid the wait. The bartenders were working hard to keep up with demand. Maybe have more wait staff?

El Dorado seaside palms is a beautiful resort. Spacious rooms, the whole resort is walkable. Many dining options with incredible food. Bar service on the beach. Staff are excellent. Work hard and great service. Cant wait to go back. Great vacation!

I really enjoyed this resort, the beach is nice, the staff is nice and courteous. My only real complaint is that the buffets near the beach weren't open early enough for lunch and I didn't feel they offered enough fruit options. I have to say to that the gift shops were vey expensive. I paid $10 for a tube of spf lip balmsnd $66 for a water floaty.
