This was a beautiful resort and the large pool were nice to be in. The beach had a lot of large rocks on the shore and there were a lot of sea weed (was told this is the time of the year for them to appear on shore). The rooms are little outdated and the daily cleaners tend to forget to replenish the basics. There has been multiple days when water bottles were not replenished let alone the mini fridge in the room. I had to call the reception multiple times to the water to be replenished . Even regular towels were missing- for this also had to call reception to have it replenished. There were always long line-ups for the buffet at all times of the service to get in. This may be do to COVID protocols, but their system is not very efficient. It is very difficult to get any reservation for their a la carte restaurants again due to COVID protocols. The couple that I managed to get reservation for, had multiple empty tables but a lot of people were waiting outside. If they are willing to get full capacity in the hotel rooms, not sure why they couldn't accommodate full capacity at their restaurants. The bars always had a line up, especially the one in the pool where there was only one poor guy working at all time slammed with multiple people in the pool trying to get a drink. Easily could have waited 20-30 minutes to get my drink order in. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are great but the service needs to improve. I am sure COVID is probably impacting them.
